Brooksy Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 someone tell walsh we won the prem not the championship
apple987 Posted 18 June 2016 Author Posted 18 June 2016 It's in the sun article on deeney bid rejected
apple987 Posted 18 June 2016 Author Posted 18 June 2016 Maybe Steve Walsh and shakey fancy joining up with nige at Derby so are plotting our downfall and subsequent sackings
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/everton-considering-brighton-defender-lewis-8137195 Interesting - sort of figure Everton were rummored to be paying here. There's also links to Keane who we've been linked with.
HankMarvin Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 We need to push on!!!! Will Keane Deeney Dunk hardly names affiliated with a team that has won the league
lcfcsnow Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Watched him a few times last season, he has no discipline and regularly loses his head - not the type of player we'd usually go for.
Wymsey Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Would agree to the idea of signing him if next season's target is to avoid relegation. But we now have to sign players that are better than what we've got or have strong potential (like Gray and Schlupp). This guy sounds rather under-whelming
apple987 Posted 18 June 2016 Author Posted 18 June 2016 Hasn't Ranieri and top said that they are treating this season as avoiding relegation and then want to carry on progressing slowly. I can see the logic, but it is a bit disappointing all the same
AKCJ Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Would be a great squad player. Definitely good enough for the Premier League. He's a leader too. For 7m this is good business.
TJB-fox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 If we were a west Brom, a palace, a Sunderland etc I'd be well happy with this. But we're not, and I think we could do better having just won the PL
jammie82uk Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Lmao has Walsh banged his head recently is there an alternative version of that Ronaldo advert that stars Walsh instead
AKCJ Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 If we were a west Brom, a palace, a Sunderland etc I'd be well happy with this. But we're not, and I think we could do better having just won the PL Our one back up centre half is 36 and will have to play in the opening game due to Huth's suspension. Can't believe the snobbery on here. Seems like people will only be happy if we go for billy big bollocks players for 30m. We need to pad this squad out. We got fortunate with a small amount of injuries last season. With the demands of Europe this squad will be stretched. Bringing in good English talent for next to nothing is good business. I'd be half pressed to suggest that people are judging him without seeing him play, merely by the club he plays for.
