Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Iceland, a team with more volcanoes than professional football players. Well said Gary.
Dodgy Bob Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Harry Kane's free kicks though That one where he tried to look like Bale/Ronaldo but shanked it almost as wide as Robert Huth's free kick. Amazing.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 The Harry Kane Freekick, corner thing is the biggest mystery to come out of this... seriously wtf was all that about
Tuna Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Disgraceful that Woy had a resignation speech already written down. We deserve answers and he should not be allowed to get away with it.
fuchsntf Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Disgraceful that Woy had a resignation speech already written down. We deserve answers and he should not be allowed to get away with it. Yes..
Vlad the Fox Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Harry Kane's free kicks though That one where he tried to look like Bale/Ronaldo but shanked it almost as wide as Robert Huth's free kick. Amazing. I just can't get my head around why he takes them, they are woeful time and time again, surely someone else in the squad could just have a word and take them. And for all the bullshit about great team spirit, there is no team spirit in that squad whatsoever, just a bunch of over inflated egos out for themselves.
iamafox Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Wales, N Ireland and Rep of Ireland can leave the Euros with their heads held high. England can't.
Sleepy Fox Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 I thought watching the USA was gloom and doom until I hitched my wagon to this England team for the Euro's this year. What a gut punch. I am pissed and I am not English. My German buddy at work called it and kept coming by my cube snickering.
foxy boxing Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Instead of pizza adverts the England players can look forward to supermarket advertisement watch out for the freezers lads it's going to get chilly?
Raw Dykes Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 I thought watching the USA was gloom and doom until I hitched my wagon to this England team for the Euro's this year. What a gut punch. I am pissed and I am not English. My German buddy at work called it and kept coming by my cube snickering. Should have done some research - the last World Cup was a huge warning. Don't follow England if you're not forced to by being from here, for fvck's sake. You'd have to be a sado masochist. You could have picked Germany, France, Italy, Spain, anyone, and you picked England? Why?
BlueSi13 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 England's most humiliating defeat since the 'Miracle on Grass' against the USA in 1950. We've had Brexit so far this week and I really wouldn't object to an Engxit from FIFA and UEFA until we could sort the national team out because this simply cannot go on. It's beginning to look like a bottomless pit of where England can sink. Firstly I think squad selections should be taken out of the managers hands. It should be like the Rugby and Cricket where players are solely picked on PERFORMANCE by a select panel rather than by who the managers mates are or who plays for the 'bigger' club. Yes I'm biased but to continually start games without a single representative from the team that just walked the Premier League is completely abnormal. Secondly (will stop at two because the list could be endless), it's now time for Rooney to either retire or be told that he will no longer be considered for selection. It's been failure after failure after failure and tonight he looked absolutely shot to shit. Sure the hordes of Spurs players surrounding him were busy destroying their reputations as well but that is one strike against them, Rooney now has six.
JerryLundegaard Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Dier is young, but he's got quality. Will be one of the corner stones of future England squads. Might as well give it to him. And Dier is, I believe, the only player who footballing wise was not brought up in England?
Sleepy Fox Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Should have done some research - the last World Cup was a huge warning. Don't follow England if you're not forced to by being from here, for fvck's sake. You'd have to be a sado masochist. You could have picked Germany, France, Italy, Spain, anyone, and you picked England? Why? Because I know all your players from watching the PL.
Raw Dykes Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Because I know all your players from watching the PL. But you must know we win fvck all? We very, very, very rarely get past the quarter finals. The FA hires puppets as managers and picks has-beens, losers and crocked players over winners. It doesn't matter how shit your season was, if you're a household name, you get in. Only played one game all season? Doesn't matter. Won the PL playing week in, week out? Sorry, not famous enough. Off you fvck. I doubt it will ever change.
Chester Dontlie Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I watched the game with mates who don't follow Premier League and had to explain to them the whole Woy-Tottenham-MU-Arsenal v Leicester conundrum and they were genuinely baffled. Before the Euros I didn't even expect England to qualify from their group (even knowing that the 3rd team can progress). A handful of quality players, but one huge obstacle standing in the way to progress - Woy. For a brief moment it seemed to me that he realised the error of his ways, when he made bold half time subs against Wales but then against Slovakia showed he has no clue about how a team is supposed to work. Reverting to the lineup with Sterling and his beloved bottler Kane was a nail to his coffin. I still expected them to last till extra time. Seems like I underestimated them vikings. Most of all I feel sorry for Vardy. It really could've, should've been his Euros. And Drinkwater's. And Albrighton's. It may be a black day for most of England supporters but you lads should be glad. At least you can start fresh. Woyosaurus is no more. I'm sure they'll have a nice cabinet for him in National History Museum where he belongs. The problem is, who will FA pick as their next figurehead. Will it be another relic or will they actually choose someone credible, who shows signs of promise. Oh well. Hats off to Iceland for doing Leicester on England. Now, that's a proper team and a sight to behold. It wouldn't even surprise me that much if they sent Kante and his mates packing.
Donut Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I think the worst thing about the night was an almost sad inevitability that this would happen.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Italy and Iceland have been the TEAMS that have impressed me. Vialli was saying they (Italy) could do a Leicester. About time England realised full backs bombing forward and having majoprity possession for 4 games means you are a great team
Jattdogg Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I think the worst thing about the night was an almost sad inevitability that this would happen. I dunno about you but I felt this way before the tournament began

leicsmac Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Well, England did want to get out of Europe, didn't we? We should be comfortable with the idea. Twice in a week.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I did enjoy watching that this morning, not surprised either really you were shit in the group stage.
AyewJoking Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 so embarrassing. a fitting end to a shít tournament for england. hodgson is a fat, festering bag of wank but how can the players live with themselves after that? i am deeply ashamed and so angry.
Merging Cultures Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 English players are now frantically Googling 'what does it mean to leave Euros 2016?' and 'what is Euros 2016?'.
