Inler on his way

I'd suggest, with Mendy picking up whatever injury he has, if this goes through then someone is incoming !

Wouldn't make any difference. Ranieri has made it clear that Inler has no future here no matter what happens. The fact he has no squad number tells you everything.

It is a shame. I liked Inler, his attitude and his apparent willingness to be a squad player. I won't say he got a raw deal because thems the breaks and I guess he knows that, but I am genuinely sad it didn't work out for him (even if he never really got much of a chance to play himself in)

I wish him all the best.

Someone must be lined up to come in if we're shipping him out, especially now Mendy is sidelined.

Mandy's injury has no baring on Inler....Claudio has decided he does not have what we need!

However, I agree we need another central midfielder irrespective of Mendys injury because we need more quality ....god help us of Drinky got injured

Pure clickbait - the quoted "Blick" article is weeks, if not months old and they even give the wrong number of games played for the Swiss national team (Inler's at 89). Poor research.

Anything with a Turkish sauce attached to it needs to be regarded with two raised eyebrows.

LCFC posting pictures on social media of the players in suits,

Inler has been included (with players like Vardy not even in it)

Why would the club bother to include inler in all of this, having an expensive suit made up for him and photoshoots etc,

Not to say he won't leave but seems odd that if the club don't want him why are they getting him involved in all of this if he's going to be gone in a week?

Because the club don't read foxestalk and probably didn't have the slightest idea that we had arranged for him to go to another club.

We have a tendency to read way too much into the stuff the club posts online tbh. My girlfriend works in social media and runs the accounts of some pretty big organisations, one of them a multinational car company. Quite often the people working on these things don't know or have little interest in whatever field they're posting about. I don't know what it's like for us. It may well be different and I'm sure they're following some instructions, like all the smiling happy pictures of Riyad during the Arsenal speculation but I wouldn't pay much attention to Inler in a suit.

The club probably treats players as normal until they are definitely leaving, didn't Benny get a BMW?

Also can't find any suit photos, link?

Exactly. I would love for them to keep Inler, but I doubt it is happening. They were publishing articles about Harry Panayiotou - and how he was the most prolific international goal scorer in club history - up until they cut him.

Ridiculous

Not really 'ridiculous' if he's apparently in squad for Swansea game and that CM could be a problem if the club doesn't sign any further CM's.

It won't be 'ridiculous' if he looks any where near like getting a game? He's hardly played, Ranieri clearly don't fancy him and if we didn't have an injured Mendy, Inler wouldn't be in the squad.

For a bloke on that sort of salary...yes 'it's ridiculous'. Unless we see something completely different, Inler has been an utter waste of money.
