Guest Col city fan Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Really happy for Ronaldo actually. This means so much to him and the nation. France were piss poor on the night, Portugal had a great game plan and stuck to it (that's the main difference between them and England). And well done Izzy!
Fox92 Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Pleased for Portugal. Got a couple of decent players there. Very underestimated.
promised land Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Lloris has had a bit of a stinker of a season in the end.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 A joke of a tournament and format to be honest.... 1 win in 90 minutes and finished 3rd in the group and they win it. Fitting winners for a poor tournament really
FireFox Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Captained by a Spurs player - says it all! With two Arsenal players.
Izzy Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 The tournament got the champions it deserved. I'm £150 better off, and France fvcked up. Funny old game Saint...
MC Prussian Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Portugal, what a fluke of a EURO winner! Massively disappointed in France, to be honest. Pogba, Giroud, Payet, Coman, where were you when it mattered...?
Tuna Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Who would have thought that a player who scored less goals in the premier league last season than Leandro Bacuna would win the Euros for his country!
Guest ttfn Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 England, who we're all agreed were absolutely shit in this tournament, won the same amount of games as Portugal in euro 2016. In fact we both beat the same team. It goes to show that with a bit of organisation and, yes, luck, anything is possible, even for us.
kingfox Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Thank **** that's over. Now to proper football in nine days time, as we witness Leicester beat Oxford thanks to a hat trick from Joe Dodoo.
Sir Shep Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Dreadful tournament! Still France played crap so c'est la vie.
Dr The Singh Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 That goal would never have happened, had Kante been there
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 All we need now is the obligatory Ronaldo 'six pad' advert to complete the night!
MC Prussian Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 That goal would never have happened, had Kante been there You could say that Clattenburg had a *cough* hand in it.
Kitchandro Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 I hate all this 'they deserve great credit' just because they managed to win the tournament. Why do they deserve credit? They made a mockery of international football by winning this. They were utter shit in all the games and should have been out in the first round! Poor winners of a poor tournament. And it sums it up that Ronaldo is getting all the credit for tonight for his touch line antics and not the players who played. France got what they deserved though. Kante and martial should have been seen a lot earlier and they brought payet off who's their best player. They were crap tonight.
Samilktray Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Superb victory for Portugal and I am ecstatic for Ronaldo. He's won on both the international (as manager) and club stages now, what a career.
