Arsenal are better coming forward than defending but we are not going to make it the basketball game it was last September. 

 

Given our stronger defence re full backs, I wonder if it might be a decent shout to get a result this time though. Claudio will play it like the away fixture in Feb and we try not to get a red card this time.

I am up for it every morning if I know I'm going to a game, regardless of form or what division we play in or what competition it is. Was buzzed last week when I went Hull (that faded during the game), sadly we lost, but excited already again. 

 

 

Honestly... Got no buzz at all, didn't care last week when we lost. Sure it will come back but could take a while.

 

Pretty much why I predicted a slow start for us. If I'm not up for it, the players could lose a bit of edge as well if they feel a bit similar... and for us that's everything.

Time to resort back to what we know best. Okazaki deserves to start, we need his energy and his capabilities of dropping back into midfield, Albrighton I'm still not sure on but I can see him starting, while a game like this will really show if Mendy is capable of playing in a midfield two or not.

 

We have an extremely good chance of doing something against Arsenal's back four, potentially rushing back Koscielny, Ozil & Giroud might prove to be a bad move. I can't see their midfield having the forward drive it is known for, Coquelin & Elneny both likely to start, not the most forward driven players around are they. Only worry for me are the likes of Sanchez, Oxlade-Chamberlain & Walcott, their pace on the counter destroyed us last season, if it means being more defensive so be it.

 

With Arsenal potentially rushing back players & frailties in defence, I'll go with a draw, 2-2.

Yes totally as am I, there were smiley faces and I was countering people's,  in my opinion, overt negativity in a string of mainly fun and positive posts so chill man !

Karma will bite you if you're always too negative ha ha ha ha ha :)

Could work in our favour. They'll be very nervous about two losses and their back 4 is suspect. If we play our way we will score. It's just about hoping the back 4 shrug off last week and return to last season. Huth is unimaginably inportant to that.

For me it depends which Leicester turn up. If we have sorted out the passing and movement we will win.

 

We looked better in the charity shield than we did last week.

 

Round pegs in a 442 please not trying some Roy Hodgson wet dream team.

 

There's a reason we won the Premiership and players like Albrighton Okazaki and even Schlupp are needed.

It's highly unlikely this season won't come near last season but I was absolutely buzzing for last weekend and was gutted when we lost. I know everyone is different but saying you're not up for it frankly seems bizzarre to me. Not having a go like, just curious.

I think there is/was a hangover from last season which is sort of understandable really

Can't say why, presumably knowing it will never get better than that. Doesn't matter what happens from here on in I was there when we did it.

 

I'm sure it will be back.

Unfortunately won't make a game until mid October but still absolutely buzzing about this even if I have to make do with the pub!

 

Huth, Albrighton and Okazaki back in and I'm confident we can get back to something like our form from last season. COME ON LEICESTER

Agree with those saying the excitement and anticipation isn't quite there compared to last season at the mo. That said, I think once we're back at the KP that'll change. Also important we're right on it as I think the complacency will filter through to the players too, perhaps as it did last week.

the right call - but we want to be running at them with pace pace pace... no checking back - don't let the back four settle;  early balls in and musa and mahrez running in to the box and pulling the trigger  (....not looking for a pass... like the arse)
