I'm looking for Amartey & Mendy to step up in the Kante role. If Drinky is missing we may have to shift the formation around but we've got enough players to do so. Kapustka still yet to feature and he looks as if he can play wide or centrally. As can Riyad. Just out of interest given You fully admitted you'd not herd of him until two days ago earlier in this thread, what exactly are you basing your opinion that you are unsure this "bloke" is what we need on.

Merging Cultures Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 We have Amartey, Mendy, King, Drinks and James. Last year we had the same number of midfielders and won the league. I know Kante was special but between Amartey and Mendy we can cover that King and James probably not good enough. Even if they have done well in the past. We need 1 more to complement DD, Mendy and Amartey.

The average Sporting CP supporter is polite, fair and a sportsmanship. Sporting is not only about football, we have other 49 professional sports [and we're in top 3 european Clubs with more titles considering all kind of sports]. We love football and winning but we love too all kind of sports and fairness/sportsmanship. But Sporting CP have more than 3 Million fans across Portugal, Angola, Moçambique, Cabo Verde [old portuguese colonies], and in France, Germany, Canada/USA and even in the UK - in portuguese communities [every portuguese football fan is Sporting CP or Benfica or Porto fan]. Sporting CP also have >140.000 paying supporters. And this is not newcomers - our last major title was 15 years ago. So it's normal to have a few bad fans/supporters too. Every Club with a couple thousands fans has them. Please don't make a unfair judgement about Sporting CP fans only because one or two of those few bad fans arrived here only to criticize/bash LCFC because they are afraid of loosing the team captain/skipper.

Based on what I've read about him, obviously. We need a ball winner and this bloke (yeh he isn't a woman is he?) doesn't seem to be that. I'm sure he's a very good player but the most important thing to us is the system and getting players who can play in it.

I've said it a few times - Kapustka started as a central midfielder. Played RB? In the euro's so obviously a versatile player. Cant wait to see more of him.
