It was expected from our President.

He don't like players or rep's going to the press talking about tranfers. He negotiates but at the right place, not by the newspaper. 

 

I was really surprised by Adrien Silva interview.

From a new player in the Club sometimes I can expect that - portuguese league is a seller of good players and we have many players coming here trying to get the highlights to make a big tranfer. But I wasn't expect that from Adrien Silva - a player that have so many years of Sporting and knows how the President works.

 

When I saw that interview by Adrien, and specially after what his dad said to the press, I was almost sure that Adrien Silva only leaves Sporting if LCFC pays the release clause [45M] or something close to that [40Million € or more].

 

It's a matter of 'protecting' the Club in our President idea.

Even if Adrien Silva is upset for some weeks because he didn't go to LCFC/Premier League is better than if he leaves for those 25Million Silva said it was already a good business to Sporting. Otherwise all Sporting CP players will think they can come to the press to request a transfer.

 

I didn't said this before because.. well all theories can be wrong, buit in this one I think I'm right.
