Wow. That's crazy money. I fear NP is seriously damaged goods now. When he left us I said he'd be best off managing abroad and I still maintain that's the right move for him.

Don’t know but I bet a few wouldn't rule him out as England boss, with Craig Shakespeare returning. May not be crazy as it sounds.

It's what England needs, but do you really think the FA would let him rule the roost?

Not gonna work for either party.

From The FA's point of view is their playset and you have to go by their rules and requirements.

From Nigel Pearson's point of view as if he'd put up with the above - And rightly so.

Seriously Villa and him would suit.

Both in downfall over the past year or so, but still potential to improve themselves.

Same situation as Derby though, they need to get promoted immediately and won't give him the time he needs! Cov is actually a decent shout but they can't afford him.

There's more chance of Alf Ramsey coming back with Bobby Robson as his number 2 then Nige getting the England job.

As much as I love the guy his reputation is taken another battering.

i think Pearson will find it hard to get on a good club in the championship after this. Wouldnt be surprised to see him in league 1.

The FA wouldn't touch him with a barge pole I reckon. They'll want someone who can appease the media and NP is not that man. I'm sure Nige and Shakey would do OK for England, but it's Southgates to lose now I guess...

Same as when he came back to us, a humiliated demure team who want balls and are willing to let go of the reins.

Aston Villa still want an immediate fix and they're F**ked.

Probably a Sheffield or Leeds?

None of what you are saying makes sense.

He needs a job with no infastructure and shit players so he can spend loads of time to turn it around.

Rather than a club with money, good players and infastructure like Derby, so he can piss people off and get sacked.

Right.

Right.

I am at a loss as to why you think Derby has a good infrastructure and good players.

Their players play fancy football for about 4 months then give up. They've done this every season for the last 5/6 years. The place clearly needs rebooting.

The club needs a Nigel Pearson but they're that invested in instant promotion with the amount of money that they're pumping into the club that they can't wait 2/3 years.

Derby need to get rid of a lot of deadwood. They're clearly not good enough to go up. They've proven it time and time again.

I hope Nige's next job will be somewhere where he'll be given the time under a chairman willing to wait.

Frankly, your desperation for him to fail is an embarrassment.

Gonna struggle to get another job of the same standing after this. His reputation wasn't exactly great before this.

Youre an embarrasment in following someone around a forum constantly. You are actually pathetic.

And its undeniable that they were better before he took over. So you have no point either.

If you can make the playoffs, you can go up.

And for fvcks sake, go and quote someone else for once you sad little moron

According to this forum, all our England managers have had issues, plus many through  all our leagues.

We see very few squeaky cleans..

Pearson woul be a great fit for Villa. Are both parties up to it...!!!

Ive been told that Villa had NP lined up before the season began and it was practically done and dusted before moves for di matteo were made by the new owners. NP got bored of villa faffing about and took the opportunity at derby.

So why haven't they?

Oh yeah, because they're serial bottlers that aren't good enough.

Funny that you think I follow you about. Bless.

Serial bottlers that could make the playoffs, now languishing near the bottom of the league and you think that Pearson was the one that needed more time. to wreck them further?

Lets have your inevitable quote back.

In fact ill find a random thread somewhere and post in it. Im sure 10 minutes later your sad icon will pop up.

Why would anyone notice anyone quoting someone else? Unless you've set your notifications up that way lol

In fact, the fact that you keep your eye on my posts (you know who i've been quoting) suggests it's you following me around.

Strange boy :D

Would love to see him manage England. Can imagine him strangling Rooney on the pitch and headbutting an official.

Think he should dip into league 1 and rebuild his own mental state.

What's the difference between not getting promoted and not being relegated?

Pearson needed time and to buy time he had to make a reasonable start. The players didn't give him that and so here we are.

Its not hard to notice someone quoting someone else is it? I mean, how is it hard to read a thread and see a quotation bubble?

I sure as hell know you follow me everywhere though. Because the icon at the top saying someone has quoted you is you 90% of the time. The rest of the time, its people wanting decent football debate. All your pointless quotes are to try and make you look clever.

So maybe you should just admit, you look for my posts and quote them. Because you do.
