Predictable result between two teams who had European football midweek and are quite evenly matched. Drab game, sort of game we were nicking towards the end of last season. Lack creativity.

"evenly matched" you say!!! Southampton, in my opinion, is one of the best football playing team in the EPL right now and they showed it today.

Perhaps some sort of radar that instantly takes you to the exact location of the ball quicker than an exocet missile

We wouldn't have stayed up without him and I'm not sure we'd have won the league without him. 20 odd goals for a player who hardly ever starts? Not bad really is it.

OK, that was last season. We are nine games into the season....How many has he scored this season?

Well, I can tell you , zero premier league goals, and he scored 17 in the PL last season, he's only come on 4 times so far, and he hasn't made a difference each time.

Slimani loses the ball too easy for my liking and runs like a donkey, he reminds me of ulloa a bit.

Vardy looks poor

Gray looks good, want to see more of him, I would swap him for Albrighton

Musa has the pace so would like to see him over ulloa/shinji

Amartey has good games and bad games

Was mendy really all that good when he played before the injury? looked average at best to me.

Drinkwater on his own again, nobody to pass to

Whats wrong with our shooting outside the box, apart from gray scoring other week every shot goes over the bar - Head over ball and pick a corner, at least on target would be satisfying..

Glad kasper is back

I think too many changes from last season with all the new players

Maybe we have tried to change the style of play to getting crosses into the box for slimani to head but its not always going to work, should still try to use vardy he is looking lost

Think the defense did a bit better today but we need some younger defenders soon

Think we need to change the 4-4-2  ??

Irrespective of the praise for Southampton in general, today was a drab game between two sides who just didn't want to go the extra mile. Nothing brilliant or exciting about the result, other than having kept a clean sheet. The 0-0 does both sides justice.

Europe's creating a real buzz this season, but the league campaign has been, quite frankly, a damp squib. I'm not expecting us to repeat last year but the performance levels have dropped, the intensity has dropped, the edge has gone.

I thought we were comfortably second best today. Lucky to end up with a point. It's very rare that we're second best at home. Fair play to Southampton really.

The only changes from last season are Amarty in for Kante (enforced), and Silmani for Okazaki (last couple of games). It's basically the same team...

I think it's more that teams have learnt how to nullify Vardy and accept a draw against us as at least that's 1 point better than last season. We just don't look dangerous, and Claudio looks like he won't change the system.

Wow! If you say it was woeful, it was.....

Im afraid how we are playing we are looking like a mid table side at best. The leading pack are running away at present. Although it was good to see Man City lose today...albeit to bloody Tottenham.

Liverpool and Arsenal looking especially strong and Pochettino looks to have done wonders at Spurs.

In the league, we look to have run out of ideas at the moment.

Nice of you to make out like I'm a happy clapper. But, I didn't expect us to be much else but mid table... It was still woeful though,

Mendy played 55 minutes, I have doubts he'll fit but I'm going to give him time.

shocking for a home performance

Blimey where were you last season, those stats Were the normal day at the office for us.

Yes at home.  !!!!

Difference we took those single Or last minute  chances.

Dont try and explain city with silly blind stats

We did not deserve to win. Thought we were slow and somewhat predictable - constantly kicking long balls up field when they've got two massive commanding centre backs in laughable.

Southampton were good, on another day might have won it, they'll have a good season again.

Two seasons ago, and even one, I would have been happy with this result. And I'm not that upset now to be honest.

We're still trying to find our feet playing last season's football without one of the most pivotal players.

And last Christmas, playing as many games as we are now, we were also shite.

There are thirty two points left to get.

Whatever the reasons for this seasons poor games and performances, whether we have been worked out or loss of form/desire I am just sooo grateful that this didn't happen last year.  The wheels could have fallen off at any time - and they didn't.  We won the league and that is in the bank for all time whatever happens this year.

I mean this season we have had alot of change

Weve had Zeiler play, Mendy play, Musa play, Slimani, with had Amarty, hernendez, so alot of players getting game time this year, its a whole mix up

At least he runs and he covered a ton of ground. All our strikers seem to lose the ball right now and that is cus there is barely support. Vardy barely runs and was nowhere to be seen for two good attacks, Slim had to go alone which is hard for a big bloke.

I never really fancied anything other than a Draw today as Southampton are a bloody good side. We are still suffering from being unbalanced and why CR cant see that puzzles me.

There's too much distance between players all over the pitch. We're trying to play football but too much at times and not enough other times. The time Morgan was caught at the corner flag with no one to give it to is an example. I'm also not sure Vardy and Slimani can play together unless they change their approach, i also think Musa might be a better partner. but it is early days for the new partnerships.

It's time for CR to thinker because the old lineup is not working.

I like Ranieri but I never believed he was ever a good coach; rigid style of play, poor player rotation and substitution, reactive type manager, etc. I just keep noticing he never talks game plan, strategies, etc. but constantly blabbers about nothing ( "I want consistency, "I talked to Mahrez and Slimani and asked them to do something against Porto", "the players are tired", etc. - although they only played 2 CL games so far, I don't believe LCFC will keep him beyond this year. He should consider himself very fortunate to have come at Leicester at the right time and consequently took the credit for the team's performance. In my opinion, 4 players should be on the bench and called upon only when absolutely necessary (Albrighton, Vardy, Simpson and Wes Morgan) and replace them with Hernandez, Demarai, Okazaki and Chilwell.

Can I remind you it was Raneri who helped us win our first ever PL title last season
