Hooooooooooof Lucky to go in one up IMO. No doubt we're going through a difficult period at the moment Col. But I'm confident things will work out fine in the long run. We just need to trust the Don and keep the faith until we hit our straps again - which I'm convinced we will do soon

Well iirc Slimani could have been ours for cheaper but we waited too long. I think Slimani has been good for us. All our strikers are struggling from the shit service and aimless balls by Albrighton, Simpson etc
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 We improved as the half went on but that wasn't difficult to do! Some awful football with no real intelligence. Ball over the top time and again. Luckily Copenhagen deteriorated as the half went on. Hard to see what our tactics are other than a long ball over the top. Now we are leading let's hope the confidence comes back.
ozleicester Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 OMG the night view of the ground.... i love Leicester

Ecdysiast Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Do scotsmen do any other job other than talk about football for a living? must account for 20% of the gdp...

He's maybe not worth 30m, and he's not going to play in the same style as Vardy, but he's good if you can get some half decent crosses into the box. As shown for the assist for Mahrez. The problem is, the only thing we can do with the ball is hoof it 50 yards up field to the keeper. We're not really playing to his strengths.
CloudFox Posted 18 October 2016 Author Posted 18 October 2016 I have to say, I love all our Champions, but Albrighton hasn't looked as good as he was last season, and Simpson is just not comfortable on the ball. Having said that, we're 1-0 up against a tough team in the CL. C'mon you foxes! Show them what we're made of in the second half!

shen Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 We're absolutely terrible going forward. No ideas, just aimless hoofs. Very little movement and poor quality on the ball. At half-time Copenhagen can rightly feel hard done by the score line.
ozleicester Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Would you credit it... no card for Santander?... youre avin a lend.
Bazly Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Midfield is poor, King is very poor. Albrighton is poor. Drinky is out of position so poor. Mahrez has vacated the wing so isn't playing midfield anyway.
EastAnglianFox Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 It really puzzles me that when we get the ball down and play quick short one touch stuff we can look brilliant as we did much of last season so why don't we do it more?? Big supporter of Albrighton but again he has been well short of whats needed at this level

TheMightySystem Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Musa for Albrighton would be my change, looked decent on LW before.
Aus Fox Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Don't think it's been too bad, Fuchs has looked good and the Frinky King partnership looks steady. We're not setting the world on fire, but has been a pretty comfortable half of football.
foxfan92 Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 You are all a depressing bunch. We're winning in the Champions League. If the result stays the same we'll be 3 for 3 in Europe!

Dames Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Albrighton and Drinkwater to an extent are hindering the team at the moment. Every time they get the ball they punt it forward and teams know now just to drop off a little when the ball is in the midfield area which is making us incredibly easy to defend against.
