Blue ROI Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 From league one to champions league. A top class performance tonight. Take a bow son.
Wymsey Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Deserves the freedom of Leicester key. Could've easily left when Holloway etc were taking the club backwards.
foxfanazer Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Hope this thread doesn't go missing......... Excellent job tonight especially defensively, good to see that him and Drinky are capable playing as a 2 together. Still don't envisage him nailing down a regular starting spot but can still do a job when required
lee7 Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Fair play to the lad he was good tonight. Deserves the praise he is receiving.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Never lets us down. Classy player, classy guy. Such a shame that it always takes for him to be trying to fight his way into the side to deliver these kind of performances. If he could do it week in, week out he'd be some player!

Hitesh Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 What was evident on last night's performance from Kingy was that he did a great job giving space to the other midfielders, and also played a bit deeper in the second half which allowed Drinkwater to advance a lot more. Great performance from a legend.
Ted Maul Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 He was excellent last night. Broke up play well, brought the ball down and took his time when a lot of others were rushing things, real calm head in the middle of the park. A couple of gaps opened up in the last few minutes when they were pressing, but we were tiring and needed an extra man in there.
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 He did play well last night, and will probably keep his place for Saturday, where he needs to do it all over again, bit of consistency at this level that's what he has always lacked, He's played well in games since our promotion and not really followed it up, start of the 2014/15 springs to mind, probably MOTM against Everton on opening day.
Babylon Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 Someone has actually deleted my post suggesting he wasn't all that and no better than Amartey in the champions league so far. North Korea much.

Mark Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 Nothing's been deleted, maybe the post wasn't made?

To be fair to you Amartey has looked class in the champions league as well , this group is no real place judge our form or players true ability, knock out rounds and premier league are the same standard for me.

North Korea much. Bloody Hell! Personally I'm so much more reassured with King in the side over Amartey. The former isn't as athletic or powerful but has a much better footballing brain imo. King knows generally where to be such that he helps to cover the back four more effectively than Amartey. And of course King actually gets into the oppositions penalty area...crucial for a central midfielder in a 442.
Bert Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 The thing is you never know what you'll get with Amartey. With King you'll always get the same endeavour etc, it just depends who he's up against. Very intelligent and does a hell of a lot that goes unnoticed.

foxes21 Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 He was excellent. However I still wouldn't play him against Palace. Keep him fresh for Spurs away.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 I must have been the only one who thought he was average.
