Bazly Posted 19 November 2016 Posted 19 November 2016 Dear Claudio, We have noticed things aren't going quite as well this season as last. Hardly unexpected as none of us really expected last season's league win so no one was expecting the same again. We did have a turbulent Summer recess with lots of the leading players of last Season linked to top clubs and the club owners responded fantastically, rather than cashing in they rather cashed out with massive pay rises for the players and also yourself. There were always going to be some issues with an ageing back line and the loss of Kante to Chelsea and the pursuit of strikers galore seemed a little Cavalier. Maybe you anticipated that Vardy and Mahrez would not be capable of reproducing last season's heroics? The defence that proved so resolute last year has been like a string vest catching the wind this. The closing down that all players did last year is gone. The communication between midfield and defence has gone. And hoofball to short arse Jamie Vardy isn't fooling anyone this Season. The tactics appear lost and the technique poor. Being a Leicester City fan brings with it limited expectations but with the 17th highest paid squad in the World the quality is definitely sub standard. We don't particularly mind losing, so long as the team fights and gives their all. It's the lack of ambition, the lack of desire that fans really don't like. We would rather see something, anything rather than another game like this, or the one against WBA or the last CL game. It's depressing football without hope. Give us hope, mix it up a bit. Drop out of form players, bring in some youth. What's the worse that could happen, we could lose by 5 goals instead of the staple 4? The people I feel sorry for are the supporters. The ones who pay good money to attend the matches week in, week out. For the owners, they are paying three times as much in wages for a group of players you can no longer call, properly, a team. So, please Claudio sort this shit out. Written as part of my Santa letter 2016

Yep... Leicester make the impossible, possible... In every way, shape and form...
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 19 November 2016 Posted 19 November 2016 Please sign some new defenders in January. Huth and Morgan just look terrible. Huth especially is guilty of hoofing it more and more. And have a word with Mahrez. Right now he's probably on a par with Jeff as his sub performance was decent
fazzyfox Posted 19 November 2016 Posted 19 November 2016 Dear Claudio, I understand that in trying to declare the cost of all those clean sheet reward pizzas as a pre tax expense from your income you have run in to bother with the Tax man. Surely there are better ways to avoid a repeat situation.
Fox92 Posted 19 November 2016 Posted 19 November 2016 He hasn't got a clue what to do. Tactics, style of play and team selection all wrong yet again. Our poor transfer activity and average players now getting highlighted.

Max Wall Posted 19 November 2016 Posted 19 November 2016 Dear Claudio. Around 8 years ago I made an impulse buy and purchased a polo shirt with 100% Leicester eblazoned on it. I have worn it on occasions, always with pride, despite my ever increasing, middle aged beer belly making it look closer to a spandex cycling top. I have defended both you and the players in person and on various forums up to this point. For the first time in 8 years, I don't really want to wear my polo shirt for fear of a fracas taking place while I vehemently fend off another 'lucky Leicester' assailant. Please, please, please do something. Best regards

boots60 Posted 19 November 2016 Posted 19 November 2016 Fecking hell. This thread would not have happened if we had won the game today & consequently have been in the top half of the table.
Wymsey Posted 19 November 2016 Posted 19 November 2016 Letter analysis: No spelling errors and it reads well, but woukd advise the word 'shit' to be changed to something else. However, the indents aren't aligned correctly, always on the left side in English. Verdict: don't send to LCFC for Ranieri's attention.

This thread would not have happened if we had won the game today & consequently have been in the top half of the table. But we didn't win the game. I knew at the start of the season that we weren't going to win the league again, probably not even get top 4, but I expected we'd be comfortable. We got 81 points last year, that would have been good enough for top 4 in every 20 team premier league season, and would have won a few titles too. We lost three times all season. There was no underperforming big teams, we were just good. Now I can accept this season we've had some tough away games, I can accept we were likely to lose them (but I can't accept the performances in doing so), but those games are gone now, we need to start picking up points against some of these mid table and relegation battling teams, and we're not. We'll be in a relegation battle if we're not careful, and last season proved we are much better than that.

Wymsey Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 The op might as well send it now Kante isn't here to intercept it.
