Max Power Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 First half was the level I want. Quick and intense. Second half nervy and hoofy.
MattCan Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 Many thanks to a bunch of players who still make me dream ... A team like no other ...

lgfualol Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 Nice to be through but we made it much harder than it should have been. The team are so wobbly. Hopefully we take the good times into Saturday. Good performances all round.

Leicester were all over the place. Great goal by Izquierdo. We will not meet each other again soon since you guys won't qualify for Europe I guess. It was good fun. Good luck against the big teams now. Great goal by your fella. Some semi applause from the kop. thanks for having us group stages. Knockouts here we come. WE'RE ON OUR WAY

theadmans Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 We live near North London and my son has a school trip to White Hart Lane tomorrow - Stadium Tour etc. They are not allowed to wear football stuff but he has his Leicester pin badge under his blazer lapel. I have told him to try to mention the Champion's League as much as possible and use the phrase "Leicester City we are coming for You".

Ecdysiast Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 Dr Singh should be good at diagnosing shits to be fair...not so hot at football pundritry with a sense of perspective - but everone has their own expertise....
crazyleicester Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 Well what an achievement! I know people want to beat us up (even some of our own in here) but we need to put things into perspective. 8 years ago today we beat Scunthorpe 2-1 in a League 1 game thanks to a Kingy winner in a side that contained the likes of Henderson, Tunchev, Mattock, Oakley and DJ Campbell. Nearly 4 years ago we were losing 1-0 at Leeds in the Championship in a side that contained the likes of Whitebread, Marshall, Dyer and Waghorn. Today we qualified for the knock out stages of the Champions League in a side that had 30m Algerian star striker Slimani out injured, 15m Mendy injured, a 5m superkid in Gray on the bench (worth 20m now IMO), 15m Nigerian international Musa on the bench, Polish International Kapustka not even getting in match day squads and numerous players like Schlupp and Ulloa who dont start but are linked to 10m transfers out but to fellow prem clubs. Once again we have come along way. Im so proud to be a fan and yeah I am as pissed off as the next man that we hoof the ball aimlessly and at times cant string two passes together. I too start kicking the cat when Wes or Huth start looking like they have never kicked a ball before or Oka falls over. But all those obvious observations to the side, winning tonight and qualifying for the KO stages of the Champs League is just magical. Forget the prem season woes, just basque in something that Spurs, Liverpool, Manchester United or Chelsea fans wont be doing this season. Loving it!!!
surrifox Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 Great to progress in this competition ,I never thought I'd see the day we competed with 15 of the best sides in Europe in a KO competition . Well done lads
AyewJoking Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 reading the ticker on sky sports news - LEICESTER QUALIFY FOR LAST 16 AS WINNERS OF GROUP G total mind fúck
Larry_LCFC Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 I think we are potentially a dangerous team to anyone in the knockouts. If we turn up, we are a real threat especially with no expectations on us
crisp packet Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 Phew! We only gone and won the group 1st half bang at it .... 2nd half just a Big Bang...!!

tyfox Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 We looked good the first half. I think schmeichel saves the goal they scored and we would have looked less nervous. We can really use this as a spring board now
Richard Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 As well as we played in the first half, they were equally as awful
AyewJoking Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 im going to forget the dodgy second half (until the match ratings thread) and breathe in the euphoria of this achievement. we havent had it so good since...........oh yeah, winning the league!
