Think we are more likely to get team of the year, Ranieri coach of the year and Jeff Schlupp young sports personality of the year.

Murray has it easily

Sadly I think you're right, the entire population north of the border will vote for him.

The clues in the name though, Personality, Murray has never had one, become world number and he still sounds dull with a face like a smacked arse.

This ****ing debate again! It's not that definition of personality, it just means notable person, like when someone is described as a tv personality.

Nah, he dabs on stage breaking his nose and knocking 3 teeth out.

Of course it'd be nice if Vardy won it, but I'd be extremely surprised.  When it comes to notable individual achievements this year, for me (IMHO) Mo Farah stands above everyone else (GB) in the record books, though I'd definitely put LCFC up for team of the year! :D  (If Andy Murray hadn't won it last year, he'd be up there too, though I still think Farah's a head above everyone else.)

murray should win it by an absolute distance. remarkable achievement to win wimbledon. and an olympic gold. and the atp. and be world number one. probably the greatest sporting year by any briton ever. and a truly likeable, humble guy.

I'm looking forward to seeing Vardy in the audience at the event clutching a bottle of vodka in one hand a packet of skittles in the other.

Murray will win it, Alistar Brownlee 2nd and Jason Kenny 3rd.

Vardy has had an incredible 2016 but he doesnt deserve it above some of the others. Incredible archievement just to get nominated though.

We will win team of the team pretty certain of that.

Surely we will win Team of the Year. You never know Vardy might spring a surprise and make the top 3. His rags to riches story is surely inspiring not just to footballers but anybody.

If he had a better Euros and was banging in goals at this present time then he would be a great shout for top 3. With his recent form though i don't think he will. Still a wonderful achievement for him. I will put my vote in for him.

Andy Murray won it last year and in an earlier year (2013 maybe?) and he has had a better year than the previous years he won it so surely he is nailed on to win.

he's not going to win but it is great he has been nominated and deserves recognition for him getting the record of goals in consecutive games. i would make Andy Murray the favourite?
