Guest Mee-9 Posted 9 December 2016 Posted 9 December 2016 I'm fed up with all this perspective bullshit. We're the champions of England. We won it because we were the best team in the country. We need to start playing like it. Tired of all this, 'oh well it is Leicester City in the Champions League' crap.
shailen Posted 9 December 2016 Posted 9 December 2016 I really do believe with all the hype around us at the end of last season, it has got into the players heads. Last season, we played every game with real desire, energy and a great spirit. It seems as though the players think they can pick and choose what games to go out and perform in which is not acceptable . I'm not saying we should be winning every week, but there is no excuse for a lack of effort. Seems as though our stars have got famous overnight, which is fine but when it's effecting their performance on the pitch that is another story.
Harry - LCFC Posted 9 December 2016 Posted 9 December 2016 Not interested in refunds. If the players want to make it up to me then they should make a big effort in our upcoming games and hopefully earn a few good results. I'm usually critical of booing the team but I think it was a fair response on Wednesday. It being a meaningless game would, I think, have excused a below average a performance, it does not excuse what was a thoroughly abject display.

Hahha, whoops. Nah I was just being an idiot on this occasion and messed it right up :P. Going to blame autocorrect and hope for the best.
foxinsocks Posted 9 December 2016 Posted 9 December 2016 To quote the football genius r savage.. a number of players had a big opportunity to impress... . None of them took it

Expression shows you care, bottling it up, shows that you are willing to suck up any old sh@t. I get what you mean, but this is just too simplistic - does this mean a violent expression is of more value than dignified silence?

While we was the best team last year, we still probably only have one player that would get into any of the top six starting 11s. So it's not easy to just play at that level again. We should obviously be doing a bit better than we are at the minute, but we are probably not many points away from where we technically should be in the league.
fox_favourite Posted 9 December 2016 Posted 9 December 2016 I was there. I made the trip to Porto, still here now (lovely city by the way!). I think it's embarrassing to chant for a refund. If that was the case, I would expect a refund for the whole season that we went down to League 1 and many more games we lost!! I was disappointed that Morgan, Was and co went to the tunnels straight away. The lads need our backing more than ever last season to get us out of this, and that starts tomorrow. How is chanting this going to help our current situation?? If you're not prepared to take the rough with the smooth, then you're not a proper Leicester fan!
themightyfin Posted 9 December 2016 Posted 9 December 2016 Can I have my money back for ALL the matches played in the David Pleat days. Not even mentioning the away games all those £4.50 in SK3 must add up to a tydy sum.

For two players to come over and clap the following fans is ****ing awful. Fair play to Demari and Marc Albrighton though. After people spend x amount of money take holidays off work and no appreciation shown to the fans is a absoluete piss take, as the saying goes. "It's the little things that mean the most".

Remember when everyone said it was "embarrassing" when Klopp took the team over to the Kop to applaud the fans? Football culture in the country is shite from the ground up. Didn't stop the entire team from Boro coming over to their fans a couple of weeks ago. It absolutely enraged me. I wasn't expect any continental stand/stare but to have two players applaud the support. For the captain not to summon the bollocks to bring them over and just slope off down the tunnel. Ranieri made no acknowledgement either. I dont expect a refund but a bit more appreciation for standing through that cack would go down well.
