Did anyone else notice than when he was subbed off he walked straight to the bench and didn't do the usual high fiving and hugging that players do when subbed / come on?

Im sure it happened... it did didn't it?

indeed straight to the bench

probably the poorest showing from a single player I ever seen, he waits for the ball, can't control with any part of his body, their right back is quicker than him, fault for the 1st goal, ran the ball out of play, he hasn't plenty of time and decide to cross a nothing ball to the box, Gray done much better coming on but was too greedy when albrighton made a 60 yard sprint to join him and should of square it to him but as usual went for glory

I have seen Sunday league players with more ability than Musa. Who scouted him?! He can't control a ball for his life and has no ability dribbling the ball. What a dreadful acquisition for 15 million.

Steve Walsh.

Very dissapointing how hes not come on

Looked  really good when he scored 2 against Barcelona of all teams  in the pre season  tournament

but appears to have gone down hill since

Just appears to have  nothing except pace   - his ball skills  make  Jamie Vardy look like messi  - his control is attrocious

should NOT  start  a game  again this season -  Gray and Kaputska  for me Albrighton and  Musa  to the bench

But with Ranieri  hes lible to be the first one picked  - as teams arnt based on form

I know the lynch mob has the taste for blood and I'll probably be mocked for this. but I Still don't believe he has had enough time or first team opportunities to be written off and ridiculed by his own supporters yet.

Plenty of players through the years took a while to settle before coming good Jamie vardy and Danny Drinkwater two recent examples.

That being said was poor today and hope he can turn a corner soon. Seen glimpses of how good he can be like everton in the fa cup.

Agree.

He's played out of position and is desperately low on confidence.

His performance suggested (lack of effort) that he didn't want to play in that position. He was absolutely abysmal.

We probably aren't the right team for him. Does that mean he is shit? Not necessarily.

Watching Radamel Falcao yesterday against Man City was unbelievable. Was this the same player who had such a terrible time last year?

I think the same can be said for Musa. Put him in a different team and he'll probably do a lot better. It's just not happening for him at Leicester.

Looks like the guy on here absolutely ripping into him before he signed had a point.

I'm not sure what he offers. Obviously hes rapid but all he does is run it out of play after taking 10 touches to attempt to control it.

I can't believe he's a professional footballer and I can't believe we actually spent money to sign him let alone £16m or whatever it was.

Get rid but as if anyone will want him. Hes worse than Jeff Schlupp

All good points. Personally think he should be playing out wide for a side that play 433.

I rewatched his sub.

He jogged straight at Claudio giving Drinkwater a high 5 on the way by. Claudio gave him a handshake/half hug and he went to the bench. A few people stuck their hands out on the bench but I didn't notice who they were.

I prefer players to play in their right position.

Vardy and Musa are never wingers same as Albrighton is never a right back, why does Ranieri still persist with this.

Playing out of position. The biggest surprise to me is that he doesn't actually seem that fast, we have been spoilt in the quick department admittedly. Seen a lot of comments that he's no better than Schlupp or Lloyd Dyer which I don't go along with but is he quicker than those 2? Or does he just look a bit slower as both of those 2 had more power/were stronger physically?

I've seen glimpse's when he's took player's on and actually looked quite decent.

At the minute he doesn't look like he's going to cut it, but the same could be said for the majority of this team.

It's a confidence thing and we don't have any.

Lazy, lightweight, lacking skill. Lamentable attitude.....

Up top from the bench only, for his pace alone. Nothing else.

Sell in the summer

As I've said in a couple of other threads now, if he was one of the few who celebrated Vardy's goal on the bench, then he should play. If the others don't want the team to win, then F them.

Sure, I don't want headless chickens, but I do want players who care and if you can't celebrate an away goal in the last 16 of the CL, then you are not a team player. We know that we won the league not because of 'quality' or 'class' but because the team worked together and they all wanted to win. Build the team around those who want to work and play hard together, and get that team ethic back.

Why did we play 442 with Musa? Genuinely the worst signing we have ever made that guy and I think if we had have set up a little bit better last night the result could have been a little bit better too.

Just imagine what might have gone wrong if we'd actually signed him in January 2016 for our title rub in as we tried to do.....
