ousefox Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 I visit Seville at least once a year. Absolutely beautiful city and anyone going will very lucky. I was hoping for this draw in the group stages and had a feeling we'd get them. If anybody has any questions about the best places to stay or what to do there then get in touch
ThorpeAstleyFox Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Does anybody know the date of the away leg? If it's the 14th/15th then I can make it!
Guest Papasmurf Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Can you fly direct to Seville? If so, where from?
Innovindil Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 People writing us off against Sevilla before a ball is kicked. Based on them winning the ultimate who gives a crap competition. Love it.
martyn Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Their Stadium holds 42000, so an allocation of 2100 for us. Should be an entertaining tie. This Sevilla team is pretty gung ho in their approach.
davieG Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Any chance of success will depend on our January recruitment.
slymunn Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Not the massive draw I wanted but weve a decent chance of getting through!
StanSP Posted 12 December 2016 Author Posted 12 December 2016 Dates will be announced in about an hour.
GaelicFox Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 14–15/02/17 and 21–22/02/17: Round of 16, first leg 07–08/03/17 and 14–15/03/17: Round of 16, second leg
peach0000 Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Am I the only one really excited by this draw

Will probably get knocked out and it will have been the dullest champions league teams we could have played. 4 minutes ago, AKCJ said: Going to get beat. This is a side that is unbeaten in knock out European competition in years. We managed to avoid the very big clubs and the beatable clubs. Typical. Leicester haven't had a good cup draw in ****ing years. 5 minutes ago, purpleronnie said: I'll gladly take money off anyone who thinks we could progress. I like you're optimism but I like your money more. Shall we just forfeit now then?
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Tough draw but it could've been a lot worse.
Jon the Hat Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 6 minutes ago, Ric Flair said: Ranieri has won every game he's ever managed against them. Played 14 won 14, scored 91 conceded none. 91 goals in 14 games? An impressive average of 6.5 goals per game!
StriderHiryu Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Tough draw! They are doing great in the Spanish league this season and with N'Zonzi have someone that is used to Premier League football. However, this is a winnable game. Sampoli their coach plays a very aggressive system which will give us the opportunity to counter. Got to keep it tight at the back but I think this will be close. Looking forward to going home and away for this one!!!
cc_star Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Great away trip for fans to a beautiful city, worst possible draw for the team IMO Not one of the big two names we could have faced, miles better than the rest
ZeGuy Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Could have been worse. But some should remember that even if their trainer went to PSG, they won the Europa League 3 times in row and Nasri is actually reborn. There is a chance of seeing the quarters but it will be a very, very tough game.
VLC86 Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Was dreaming it was these all night as I was up till 1am looking up places there on AirBnB. Very tough draw.
Bayfox Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 anyone else find flights to seville on ryanair this morning from gatwick or stansted, now doesn't exist, hummmm. Prices through the roof when it comes back.
Swarles Barkley Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Meh actually it could be worse. Could be arsenal rn
RonnieTodger Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Not a good draw. Can see us giving them a good game at home, but just hope we're not out of it after the first leg.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Sevilla is lovely, and we have an outside chance of winning it. Happy with the draw!
Koke Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 4 minutes ago, Ric Flair said: There is absolutely no buzz of getting dicked 9-1 on aggregate to Real, PSG or Bayern. Sevilla are European veterans but they are beatable. Their manager will set them up that can be exposed let's just hope we have some more bodies in defence and midfield to help us stay in it in the first leg. I'm happy with the draw. THANK UOU!!!! Exactly my thoughts. Real Madrid and Bayern would have dicked us 8-0 on aggregate and totally humiliated us. There's no joy in losing 6-0 away to Real Madrid. Sevilla are obviously favourites but other than Benfica and Leverkusen this is the next best draw for us.

AyewJoking Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 We were going to get raped by whoever we played. Shame its not a "glamour" tie though.
