Hart for Kasper

Recommended Posts

Posted

Would not swap Kasper for anyone. He's a more than adequate goalkeeper and more importantly a colossally important figure in the dressing room.

If Kasper was to leave, then Hart is quality for sure. But I would want the club to do everything in its power to ensure he stays. He is a true leader and a really classy keeper.

Would be daft not to have a plan incase KS leaves and with the state of a few keepers in this league I fear it could be a reality but I would have KS over JH any day of the week.

I'd say if it's true it's more down to realising that Zieler is shite more than worrying Kasper is leaving

Well, Zieler is shit. I'm very disappointed in him. He does not communicate with his defence and the defence don't seem to have confidence in him.

Hart would not want to come here to sit on the bench though!

If Kasper were to move, yes I suppose Hart would be a top replacement. But I really hope we can keep him. Same with Drinkwater. Those two are integral to the team.

Said everything that I wanted to say and in a lot less characters too.

I wonder if this has come about because Shakespeare was impressed by him when working with England.

Got to admit though, I don't think he's as good as Kasper. He makes alot of errors, and has continued making them for Torino.

This is one of the reasons we need to keep kasper...

Kasper Schmeichel rallied Leicester comeback, says Daniel Amartey

A half-time speech from Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schemichel led to the Foxes' 2-2 draw with Stoke, according to midfielder Daniel Amartey.

Leicester came from 2-0 down at the Bet365 stadium on Saturday to grab a 2-2 draw against the Potters with 10 men after Jamie Vardy had been sent off after 28 minutes. Vardy was shown a straight red card by referee Craig Pawson for a two-footed tackle, sparking a furious confrontation from manager Claudio Ranieri on the pitch at half-time.

Schmeichel could be seen leading his manager away from the referee and Amartey has now revealed that the Danish goalkeeper addressed his team-mates again in the dressing room before goals from Leonardo Ulloa and Amartey clinched an unlikely point.

"When we went inside [Ranieri] talked to us, Kasper talked to us and we talked to each other," Amartey told the official Leicester City TV channel. Daniel Amartey has revealed that a half-time rally from Schmeichel spurred ten-man Leicester on"We had to come back and fight together.

Well we've got loads of strikers so why not keep Kasper and buy Hart as well ...    keep the buggers on their toes with a bit of healthy competition.    :)

I think that's why they got Zieler!

Neither Hart or Kasper are going to sit on our bench. Both will expect first team action.

It was a joke lads .....

I'm happy with how things are thanks.   Love Kasper and RRZ is good enough to fill in now and then.

Kasper is massively underrated. Whilst Vardy, Mahrez and Kante took all the headlines, his importance to last season can't be understated.

I think it's probably because he plays for Leicester that he doesn't get the recognition  by the pundits that he deserves.

In my opinion, only Lloris and De Gea are better than him in the league.

Best Keeper we have had since Shilton IMO. If there was no chance of keeping him then have to say Hart would be a great replacement. Wonder what wages Hart is on.

According to Total Sportek, Hart is on £110,000 basic and up to £150,000 with bonuses with a contract until 2019. That's a little bit more than Kasper is supposed to get.

Could that possibly be because he's not English and doesn't speak English very well?

Wallington, Keller and Flowers were also pretty decent, Kasper is a class act but if he were to leave Joe Hart is not a bad shout as long as he knocks those crap adverts on the head and he also has a point to prove.

No for 2 reasons 1) He played in England for 4 years before signing for us and 2) Even if his English isn't good half the regular back four speak German!

I'd take Hart but only if Kasper decided to move on. There's no doubt that Kasper is a lot better than Hart atm and is one of the best GK's in the league.
