FLAN Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Haven't read all this but wanted to ask peoples opinions on something. Do we owe the players support? Why do we have to turn up on Sunday rousing them when there is clearly a lack of motivation on their side? Would it hurt to give them a bit of stick before the game? I know trheee will be accusations of "not a real fan" but what else can we as fans do to voice our displeasure?? I'm not talking boos during he game. Just a gesture of some sort prematch like not cheering line ups or not clapping them off the pitch??? wake up call...

They are there for a paycheck, nothing else. I don't get clapped at work, but I still work hard, that's because I'm not taking home 100k/week, if I was, and knew I couldn't be sacked, I wouldn't give a shite.
Ashley Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 They'll bully us on Sunday. You can more or less tell now one of their man tactics will be to attack the flanks get corners and pin Kasper in on his line. Wouldn't be surprised to see Fellaini start along with Pogba.
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Schmeichel Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Ndidi Mendy King Albrighton Slimani Mahrez Subs: Zieler, New boy, Chilwell, Drinkwater, Gray, Okazaki, Musa First three defenders as no other options. Would opt for Fuchs purely for experience. Drinky needs dropping, King adds some height and a goal threat. Vardy wouldn't score in a brothel atm so Slim up top. If he's not fit (and ulloa isnt available) I'd go with Musa with Vardy coming onto the bench.
filbertway Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Seeing as we've got no ability to move the ball from defence to midfield and we look terrible anyway we may as well play a disgusting 5 4 1 and try and eek out a 0-0. Schmeichel Simpson Benny Morgan Huth Fuchs Albrighton Ndidi Mendy Chillwell Gray Everybody with strict instructions to stay in their own half. Gray can run around like a maniac chasing long balls, then bring on Musa to do the same for the second half.

With our excellent run of form and the fantastic transfer window we've just had IF we just crumble I expect the atmosphere to turn poisonous very quickly. Our stewards had better be ready. I fear all the goodwill towards the team is about totally spent. Agree, could turn very nasty if we lose, particularly if the performance is below par. You are right, I think all credit earned by them last year is now spent.
narboroughblue Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 I can't remember the last time I didn't look forward to a trip to the KP as much as this one. It's going to be a tough watch and can't see anything other than a defeat. Really despondent about the whole situation today. What a waste of a chance to move the club on to a new level after the amazing achievement of last year. Heard we are 5/1 to be relegated and bet365 have emailed me with a code for a free 100% deposit bonus. Tempting to lump on as a sympathy bet.

We could all accept a mediocre season but its just been truly terrible. I just cant get my head around how bad we've become! For this game he has to play 3 in midfield, even if it means 4-5-1 for a chunk of the game but we cant lose. We're not looking like scoring in a 4-4-2 so it cant make us any worse than we are
Kswainy1993 Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 When she slimani back that's who we need right now
Guest LCFC_World Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Kasper Simpson Benaluane Wague Chillwell Albrighton Barnes King Ndidi Gray Ulloa Not saying that's how we should line up, but we need a team that wants to impress. We need a proper shake up wether that means the manager or the team. EDIT: BREAKING ON SKY SPORS: ULLOA TO REMAIN PROFESSIONAL AND PLAY AGAIN.
The Doctor Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Need slimani fit again. I'd be dropping Vardy and Drinkwater, embarassing of late. Schmeichel Simpson Benelouane Huth Chilwell Grey Mendy Ndidi Musa Mahrez Slimani
Blizzard Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 So much pessimism, you guys make me laugh. Its a game of football involving Leicester, anything could happen!

Sure, a game of football involving two teams, anything could happen. But you'd look mental if you thought we're going to get anything but a hiding on Sunday.
jammie82uk Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Just seen that Anthony Taylor is the ref for this that can't be right surely
lifted*fox Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 I'm spending the week practising my boos for this one. So far I've booed the missus for burning our shepherd's pie on Monday night, I've booed the cat for knocking over it's water dish this morning. I'm hoping that I've got some more chances to practice before this one because I'd like my boos to be in perfect pitch / tone and be able to hold my boo for a long time - I'm aiming for at least 15 seconds before having to draw a second breath. I'll be absolutely gutted if we get a result therefore rendering my hard work / booing practice during the week useless.
walkerleeds Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Sadly it'll be unchanged from last night. Maybe Okazaki for Gray the only change.
Bablemikey Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 442. If fit I'd definitely start Slimani with a view to replace him with Ulloa as he tires. Same with Vardy & Musa, Mahrez & Albrighton/Grey. Chilwell in for Grey on the left to add bite and fight to our midfield battles, and he works well with Fuchs. Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Chilwell Drinkwater Ndidi Mahrez Vardy Slimani
lcfcsnow Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 I'm praying they've sorted the post horn gallop, can't be doing with the camp version again before we've even kicked off.

Tuna Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Lets just go all out attack from the off. Try something different, absolutely nothing to lose at this point. Schmeichel, Albrighton (RB), Chilwell, Wague, Morgan, Mendy, Ndidi, King, Mahrez, Musa, Gray 4-3-3.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Kasper ANYONE Morgan Huth Chilwell Ndidi Drinkwater King Mahrez Gray Slimani (If fit) Hoping that the United factor could spur Drinkwater on but he could easily be swapped for Mendy. Get Ndidi at the base of a three and let King have a bit more license to get in their box, he's crap in a two at this level but he's still a clever player who knows how to score. Had enough of Simpson.

Then again if we want to survive relegation then hes the only one who knows what its like to be relegated with leicester and might have some passion.
AjcW Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 I can't think of any reason not to start Ulloa on Sunday... honestly! There's not a lot more lethal in football than a player who wants to prove himself and prove people wrong. Yes he needs to apologise first... but if he does and all is well... START!
Spicer Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Kasper Simpson Benny Wague Chillwell Mahrez Mendy Ndidi Cabbage Ulloa Musa Because why not?
