We were well in the game but its more shocking defending.

 

Mahrez cant do a thing, Vardy doesnt look like he can be arsed but Ndidi has been the best player on the pitch. People need to remember that offensively last season it was all about Danny, Mahrez and Vardy and all three of our superstars just arent performing. I love em all but they are all playing like shite and dont look able to be creative or score a goal.

Mata decision absolutely terrible, but that doesn't excuse the fact the defence undid 40 minutes good work by the whole team. It's worrying,

Pretty comfortable and then bang. Last year Huth would have taken him out and took the yellow card. 

 

Failing to even recognise how poor the defence is will send us down.

Positives: N'didi.

 

Negatives: Everyone else.

 

If Simpson gets the ball - 99% he will hoof.

 

If Okazaki gets the ball - 99% he will fallover.

 

I honestly think Drinkwater is costing us games with his woeful marking and work-rate in defence. 

 

Fuchs is looking like a 40 year old, along with Huth and Morgan.

 

Mahrez is just too lighweight. For all his skills, any kind of physical pressure, and he is easily pushed off the ball. 

 

Vardy again has little to no service. 

 

The second goal was so easy. How can a ball be passed across the box like that to an unmarked Ibra. Ridiculous.

We simply cannot defend.. Second balls, pull backs into the box, crosses. 

 

And if anything we look even worse going forward. No threat whatsoever. Can't string 3 passes together

Upshot is Huth diving in lead to 1st goal, Morgan giving Zlatan freedom of the box the 2nd goal. Nowt Claudio can do about that except pick our other centre half options!

Okay so 2 defensive calamities.

 

There are positives to take from this.

 

Players generally look more up for it.

 

Think Shinj is looking quite good to - making a nuisance of himself like he did so often last season.

 

Biggest positive seems to be Ndidi - who I think is easily our best player on the pitch.

 

If we can keep pressuring teams like today even if we don't win this one we should win some games.

 

More positives ...? Hopefully won't be double figures by the end as some feared ...

Defended ok for 30 minutes but as per do nothing with the ball other than lump it. Vardy and Mahrez basically left in the summer and Fuchs and Huth... Whatever drugs they were on last season they better start taking them again. 

Too many players not giving a f*** meaning Claudio will lose his job. Vardy should be put in the u23's.

Better performance but Huth that was poor and I blame drinkwater as he was marking him prior to that and let him go.

 

fuchs has been unusually poor for the last few months.

I stress that in a relegation battle we need POINTS. Not 'improved' performances. So we improved and didn't concede in the first 40 mins, who gives a fvck... we haven't created anything and we're at home.
