The position is so pivotal to how we play, especially in a 4-4-2 and he is doing nothing in attack, and costing us goals due to his lack of marking and work rate in defence. Give Mendy a go please Claudio. Stop being so nice to these players and not dropping them.

LcFc_Smiv Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 It's alright saying the performance is improved, but Hull improved and managed a draw against these,not concede two in the space of a minute. Lost faith in Ranieri and I think that reflects in the players performance, even Pearson managed to get most of these playing half decent when their heads were down, I can't see Claudio coping with the same pressure and saving us in the same way.

lee7 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 The defending for the goals reminds me of watching Villa last season. Too many players not closing down quick enough and just stood around waiting for somebody else to get blocks in.
