Not sure DD meant it. He isn't that bright of a character. Unintentional humour by him.

modus operandi  WTF !!!

He's a footballer ffs

Wasn't it said in the past that he doesn't like dealing with the media and would rather keep a low profile? Never has come across that well in interviews to be honest. But his performances on the pitch are what matters

He's had it in for this club since Nige showed him up as the prat he is a few years ago. What sort of question is that?

Why does Pat Murphy only ever seem to be at our press conferences when there's an opportunity to have a dig at someone?  Club should just tell him to piss off if he's just going to show his head to shit stir.  Using modus operandi was completely intentional - would have preferred Danny to respond along the lines of "talk in English you dickhead this is a football press conference".

I think the fact the official LCFC media channel put this out shows what they think of Pat Murphy.

Murphy asks questions in such a way that he tries to make it all about him.

Not having this lol he's panicked, had a brain dump and styled it out as if he was being sarcastic. Good effort drinks!

I thought Shakey spoke very well in that presser - very impressive.

Drinky however looked like a rabbit in the headlights. I felt a bit sorry for him being put out front for that. He doesn't look confident in those situations and he's not the sharpest tool in the box bless him. I think it's fair to guess DD won't be a future Manager lol I 'fink'...

P.S. Pat Murphy is a total bell cheese. Trying to be smart and his question backfired on him. Total stroker and should have retired years ago...

Don't agree actually.

He always comes across as quite dry, quite sarcastic, quite sharp.

Always got the feeling when seeing them interviewed together that Vardy has all the lip but Drinkwater has the beating of him.

Can someone provide a quick summarisation of Drinkwater's reply as I am deaf and the video does not have subtitles please?

Yeah, I think we see different sides to them. When I hear DD speak he sounds very dull and unimaginative. I appreciate footballers don't have an extensive vocabulary but DD comes across worse than Vardy IMO.

The impression I get from Drinkwater is someone that really doesn't want to be in front of a camera. Don't think he enjoys talking to the press, think he's a bit of an antisocial git to be honest which is what I took Pearson to be alluding to previously as well.

Think that's why he comes off as a bit dull and uninteresting a lot on camera.

All just speculation obviously.

Reporter: What did Shakespeare bring to the table? (Under Claudio)

Drinky: What, as an assistant?

Reporter: Yeah.

Drinky: Well, he assisted him! lol
