Sevilla post match 2-0

Read this on Eurosport. Absolute legend.

Kasper Schmeichel is one of Europe’s top keepers

It is hard to think of a weakness in Kasper Schmeichel’s game. It goes without saying that he is a supreme shot stopper but his all-round game is also pretty spotless. He has presence, commands his area and is the man for the big occasion.

He followed up a sensational showing in the first leg against Sevilla with another standout performance on Tuesday. With the relative paucity of elite-level keepers around, Leicester will do very well to hold on to their number one come the summer

Well to tonight was one of the most amazing night of football I've experienced. The atmosphere was phenomenal, the players were just magnificent and the fact that we are through to the quarter finals of the Champions League makes me think I'm delirious. Above all, not sure about anyone else, but that game has made me feel like I've been in the ring with Tyson in his prime! I feel exhausted!

Your words there nailed the feeling.

Tears of joy, leicester  city I/we  love you.

It's my birthday today.

And I was at the game - one of the best games I've ever been to and without a doubt, the best atmosphere I've ever witnessed.

Best birthday ever.

i'm not going to be able to sleep damnit! lol i think i'm still shocked

This is pure crazy and I absolutely love it! The banner and whole atmosphere was such a gamechanger, they knew it was going to be tough, but nothing prepared them for that, stunned them into it. So, so proud of all of you, you did it as well!

This movie is going to end up a friggin trilogy at this rate, so many twists and turns...

Just think about this, Seville haven't been beaten in europe over two legs for over five years!

Puts it into perspective really doesn't it!

What a time to be a LCFC fan! These truly are the days...

My family are so proud tonight. I love it that the world was watching this play out at the Leicester City Stadium. Also we observed that Captain Morgan scored his goal with a sublime pelvic thrust! Wes Morgan... He scores with his balls.

What a game, the confidence levels of the players just went throught the roof. Even Simpson was running at the Sevilla defence like an English Messi:scarf:

You can add Chris Sutton to that list, calling Shakey snakespeare.

What an odd photo!

It's like a scene from a night out in Coalville, Simpson's trying to hold back Drinky from laying into the lad that knocked his drink out his hands, Albrighton's been on it since 10am and doesn't know what day it is, Ndidi thought Albrighton was eyeing up his Mrs and is about to threaten him with a broken jaw but will ultimately just walk away

I just can't get over what we've done here. Over the past few years I've developed a soft spot for Sevilla, I've been really impressed with the way they go about things, I've thought... I'd love us to do things like that.

Yet it's us, of all teams in Europe, who have ended their ridiculous run.

We have knocked a team out of Europe who have been in it nearly 4 years.

Honestly. I nearly shed a tear at full time.

Hadn't thought of it that way.

Sevilla have been in Europe continuously since 2013 without getting knocked out....until tonight. Stunning.

I'd give you a thumbs up, but apparently 25 is your daily limit...

Really surely they would have been in the CL the past three years giving they have won the EL the past three? however this is the best Sevilla side and they look good for auto qualification this year. So remarkable resilience for sure regardless

This team continues to write new chapters of Leicester City history and folklore.

Probably the best team we've ever had but definitely the most memorable.  Your grandchildren's kids will know all about Vardy, Mahrez, Schmeichel and co.

An unbelievable night of football gentlemen. Heart rate has only just dropped to a normal rate. Every player did their part as did every fan. Brilliant atmosphere, brilliant result and on to the next one! Special mentions for albrighton and the back 4 and crucially kasper who for me is simply the difference between going through and going out. Blue army!
