Agreed, Shinji might be frustrating at times but he was essential to us last season and still is now.

And he scores the most memorable goals lol

We've got that feeling back where you just sense we will win, irrespective of the opposition. Superb start. Would love Slim to come on and score or Albrighton to get one!

Shinji compliments Vardy brilliantly - we'd not score anywhere near as well as we do without him: see vardys record this season: similar conversion rate to last season a few weeks ago, but far fewer goals because he'd got so many fewer chances. Not a coincidence he's got 3 in 3 since shinji came back in.

He played with Shinji under Ranieri this season and didn't score too. In your run of bad games, Vardy and Shinji played together and he didn't score. The key here is that Ranieri was fired and the players instantly started to play well. Strange no? Nothing to do with Shinji being on or off.

Just once id like to have to try and defend against Mahrez... the way he walks round people is simply amazing
