Ted Maul Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 We could really do with Liverpool winning this.

WTF was Lovren doing putting his hands in to Calvert-Lewin's back?! right - neville going off on how horrible the decision was. I agree it was soft but Lovren opens up the door for the call once he puts his hands on C-L's back. it's not THAT horrible of a decision. I've seen worse. Just don't put your hands on the dude's back and you don't have to worry about it.
Jimothy Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Is Rooney the Everton captain? I don't think they've mentioned it today.
Super_horns Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Out of the blue that one! Silly from Lovern - always risky with the way players go down these days.
Vacamion Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 “Second penalty since the war”. My missus asked “Which war?”
sm1 Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 With all the possession that Liverpool have had, they've had next to no clear goal scoring chances. Even Salah's goal was individual brillance.

surrifox Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Klopp's ridiculous team selection today looks like costing his side 2 points. No way should they ship points to this crap
Guest Kopfkino Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Almost sad seeing Everton fans so happy with their anti-football point Wtf was Lovren doing
foxfanazer Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Absolute steal. Might have got the result but what dire football they play. Klopp punished for not playing his best 4 players together. Also Jordan Henderson is so poor
theessexfox Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Lovren never ever fails to disappoint, imagine trying to win trophies with that clown at centre half.
Kendal Fox Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Of course I'm glad we never got Fat Sam, but at the same time, I find it highly insulting that that clown, with his soul destroyingly awful style of football, made a point of saying to the press that he'd "no interest" in our vacancy. Well Everton, I hope you're happy with the guy. One of the most overrated top-flight managers of the last 20 years. And that's saying something.
surrifox Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Allardyce will always pick up work for clubs who regard Prem survival as the best they can hope for - the palaces, West Broms and West Hams of the league . Everton have higher (albeit deluded) aspirations - which means playing decent and ambitious football and y' know entertaining the people who pay to watch . Good luck with that .

New managers in the league since the start of the season: Hodgson, Puel, Allardyce and Pardew. I imagine Pulis will also end up at somewhere like Swansea soon too. We really did get the pick of the bunch. 3

And I'm sure the owners knew that Puel, despite the criticism he got for taking Saints - with worse players than us - to 8th and a tight cup final, was still a more exciting prospect than any of those. 1
Koke Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 You have to feel sorry for players like Martial and Rashford. They are practically playing right back and left back. 1

Easy statement to make as we say very little about who we are linked with, thankfully we had "no interest" in him. If we did make enquires he might have been top of the list what he wasn't told was it was page 71 of the list just above Peter Taylor and David Pleat 1
foxfanazer Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 (edited) Thought it was a yellow card offence to crowd the ref nowadays. 5 united players trying to influence Oliver to book Kompany there. Perfectly good challenge as well imo Edited 10 December 2017 by foxfanazer 1
fazzyfox Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Herrera has fast become a modern day Dennis Wise figure a dirty, sly, cheat, how he gets through games without two yellows is a miracle.
StanSP Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Klopp ****ed himself over today. Dropped Coutinho and Firmino and took Salah off midway through 2nd half. Ridiculous. If he didn't want Salah to be tired, he didn't need to play him in midweek!
