You do that then.

I, despite the trophies that he has won in the past, actually think that he's quite over-rated now. To the extent where he says the same things in certain situations, his tactics are often confusing but predictable and has recently been rather clueless tactically. StriderHiryu Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Man City have a great opportunity to win the Champions League now. Usually the high intensity of the Premier League takes it out from the British teams, but with the league over barring the worst collapse of all time, they can rotate way more often and save their energy for that competition - and advantage that Real / Barcelona / PSG and Bayern have. I wonder what side they will line up with against us. Hopefully it's not full strength.

In theory true but Pep crashed out in the CL 3 years running with Bayern despite them winning the league in March. 2

His bayern team were not as good as this man city team imo Heynckes did win the treble but that was overachievement really I did say before today there were signs they were running out of gas but really its great battling qualities in tough games seeing them through
Matt Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 (edited) Anyone seen Klopp's interview? Say what you like about Mourinho, Klopp is the worst loser (didn't even lose) in the league, possibly the worst loser the league has ever seen. Worse than Van Gaal. Idiot. Can't stand the constant excuses.
Donut Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Lovren pushed the everton youngster in the back. He gave him an excuse to go over. Lovren is a senior experienced defender and he made a terrible decision. Klopp defending him for it is not helping the player or his own credibility 1

Never rated Hughes but didnt realise things were that bad. The myth that Stoke Away is a very tough fixture is starting to lose its lustre. If West Ham and Palace can get their act together they could easily go down. Despite all that Stoke Away has been a cracking fixture over the years. Edited 10 December 2017 by Blue ROI

Despite all that Stoke Away has been a cracking fixture over the years. Stoke away was a tough fixture when they had big physical ugly players. Hughes changed the "style" with little dweeby players like bojan shaqiri arnautovic etc that would do something useful once every four or five games but they had go to men like whelan, shawcross, walters, huth even. The go to men are still the likes of crouch whilst tidy but ineffective players like choupo moting, ramadan sobhi, berahino and the previously mentionned players come and go. No surprise theyre now struggling as their successful identity (however ugly) is now gone. Pulis had them mid table playing in europe and reaching fa cup finals lets not forget 1

I'd say it was a bit of brain dead defending we have come to expect from Liverpool...hence why they won't win anything. 1
Guest Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Thoughts on today's games: Man City have been hurt by losing Stones. Manure need Pogba. Southampton are looking better and better, we need to score first against them as they pack the defence 5:4. Charlie Austin would have been a good buy for us when QPR were in the championship, looks like he's finding his form again. Liverpool are no contender, Everton are total shit and were very lucky.
Hammo Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 The sour gripes of Mourinho are an offence and an insult to anyone of a sound, rational, reasonable mind. The man is a cretin, plain and simple. He thinks he's so clever, so cool, but he just isn't. He's a cretin. A rich, successful cretin, but a cretin all the same.

Jaspa Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 The pen decision is 90/10 to me. Technically he has put some force into a nudge but Calvert-Lewin has left the chase for the ball and lept across Lovren's line, both his feet were off the floor whilst seemingly chasing the ball before contact and he's hit the floor like a sack of spuds. All the initial force and momentum is from the attacker, slight push from the defender which shouldn't be enough to floor him after, you see that let go plenty. I don't hate or like Klopp either way, he's a bell but it's a ridiculous situation in a derby match
Izzy Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Klopp does apologise at the end of that interview to be fair to him 1
Corky Posted 10 December 2017 Posted 10 December 2017 Jurgen going dangerously close to the full Big Ron there

Why in a game youve controlled would you give any possible excuse to go down for a penalty? Lovren had to be more streetwise than that surely? He pushed him clearly
