If we pull this off I will actually suck Rudkin off along with 30,000 other Leicester fans.

That would require a big mouth and a lot of stamina.

I admire your commitment, though.

What's with giving mahrez credit for turning up,he's paid more than enough and is expected to turn up,is body language stinks, and maybe it's the fact He knows Barca or real ain't coming knocking and he's excepting that he's likely to be a city player come the start of the season if Roma's derogatory offer is anything to go by

This in a nutshell.

If we force a rival to overspend and limit their flexibility elsewhere, that’s good.

If we do value Sigurdsson this highly and get him, that’s good.

We’ve got the scratch.  Everton have no choice but to take us seriously.  To play at the next level you have to have weight and be willing to apply it.

I'd imagine his goals and assists from free-kicks would offset some of that - cos right now we don't have a free-kick specialist and that would be serious self-harm when it comes to ambition.

You're quite right, We hardly have anyone who can kick a Ball properly never mind take a free kick.

I'd say Fuchs or maybe NDiddi is the best of the current squad. Maybe the new lad or Gylfi will fill that role if he signs.

If we spend £50mill on him and offer £125k p/w I'll feel a little sick. It's more than what I already thought was definitely too much.

I agree, both those figures are about double what I think they should be. But I don't think there's any truth in that report, Vardy and Kasper would rightly be pissed off.

The £50m is spot on, in this market I consider it 'cheap'.

£125k makes me feel a little uncomfortable however.

Really? Pissed off at having a wage rise?....

I'm sure I read those two and one or two other's have a clause in their contracts that they get a wage rise should a higher earner come to the club, albeit read and being rumour.

I don't think he'll make it past the first 15 without lockjaw. There's going to be a lot of disappointment with this broken promise.

We'd better start forming a queue then.

Ok, I know its fun but do you really think Inheanacho would be happy to move from Man City's bench to ours? Nailed on starter if we sign him.

The thought of Sigurdsson, Mahrez, Inheanacho and Vardy in the same team?

So you'd have to push Siggy out wide!

also, I don't think any of the three (Iheanacho, Vardy or Slimani) can say they'd be a nailed on starter. The choice is too good. Rotation all the way

7th easily. Potential to break top 5, maybe even top 4. The Champions League takes it out of every Premier League team because there are no easy games in the Premier League. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich can all put out weaker teams on a Saturday, but that is suicide in the Premier League. It is no coincidence that the last two champions have not been in Europe. This year will likely end that streak, but I don't see anyone coasting it like Chelsea just did.

I actually think that match day squad is too stacked. You will get unhappy players with that many good ones over a 38 game season. But boy, I wouldn't mind seeing it happen.

No but seeing as we are talking pure fantasy, I'd have Inheanacho, Mahrez and Sigurdsson alternating behind Vardy. Have two holding midfielders.

Realistically though i dont think we will sign Sigurdsson and Mahrez will leave.

To answer your original question, that squad would finish 6 or 7th on paper.
