Maybe I didn't explain myself my very well. Of course we don't actually pay in Euros. But being a European club the currency everyone in European football understands is Euros. A lot of clubs reps and agents will not be British so the first figure they will quote will be in Euros. Obviously an English club will establish a price in sterling they want and then negotiate with each other in the currency everyone understands i.e. Euro. Obviously the Euro price is never reported as the transaction will be in £sterling. Hope that makes sense?!

I bet Hull wished you had Rudkin's job. With the inflating market, what do you really expect? Having "one year left" on your contract means absolutely nothing anymore. Please recall to me how successful we've been pussyfooting around with poxy bids and valuations on players in the past? Worked well, didn't it? Didn't nearly get relegated in the end, did we not? Aren't Tottenham or Liverpool a big club, then?
Babylon Posted 13 June 2017 Posted 13 June 2017 All this "one year left" stuff means very little. Keane has one year left and will still fetch £25m+, there have been others go for good prices with only one year left. It's meaning lessons less. Can people stop saying £30m+, it's not been said that it's £30m.

Both players are close to completing deals to leave the club. Hopefully we've chucked our hat in the ring for Maguire. Why would we need to offer 30m Hull have accepted an offer so all we would need to do is match that. But personally I believe the club he's talking to is us. Just as I said 5hrs before sky started reporting he was in talks.

Spiritwalker Posted 13 June 2017 Posted 13 June 2017 Does this mean Everton will get Pickford for £22m?

Jon the Hat Posted 13 June 2017 Posted 13 June 2017 If Pickford is not worth £30M then Maguire is definitely not not worth £30M Plus + I heard.
st albans fox Posted 13 June 2017 Posted 13 June 2017 I've heard we need to pay 30m to offload musa to hull and maguire is 46 million but we get 32mill cash back and green shield stamps - rudders still collecting these apparently

AKCJ Posted 13 June 2017 Posted 13 June 2017 Speaking to Hull fans on not606. They reckon they'd do well to get 15m. One even suggested that they'd take 5m + Ulloa
