Sell our captain because we are blessed with CB options, good one.

Why would we have to sell him? Don't think Wes or Huth would kick up a massive fuss if they weren't starting as regular.

Having a Kante helps

It helps but not as if he won the French league with Caen. And he wouldn't have won the league playing for Sunderland. Huth and Morgan were beasts in the league winning side. Positioning was spot on.

I'm not bothered by the fact he isn't that fast because of how we play, he's actually quite good with the ball at his feet for a big guy and an upgrade on what we've got with scope to improve

If we are solid in Cm and with Ndidi we are then teams will try and attack us from wide so I'm with you on that. We probably do need his partner to have a bit of pace though.

We are always going to buy a CB, whether we get HM or not.  2+2 makes 5 very easily here, but given Shakey was here for it previously, I wonder if he'd be tempted to bring back 3-5-2 and play three blocks in the heart of that defence?

Why are people moaning about Maguire? We need a young CB, he's English, he's played 200 odd games in the bear pits of L1 and Championship and he looks like he's a decent price.

Whats the down side??

But did you have 'Owzthat' and played tests using this?

Absolutely yes. And Logacta, a dice based league system for football. We beat QPR in the European Cup final under my guidance and occasional cheating

Report is coming from David Burns.

Someone said "£17m" and he responded "Not sure it's that much."

So much for £30m +

I hope so, the "just pay the £30m" brigade would soon ruin this club.

A player for a Championship club and he has one year left on his deal and isn't wanted as a first team player by the big clubs. This should be a buyers market.

It's also telling that Southgate rates him behind Keane and Gibson so we're probably getting the worst out the three available.

Hasn't the month of May taught us anything. Injuries happen. Suspensions happen. Huth and Morgan aren't getting any younger - we can play a proper back three or someone can have a rest on the bench

The whole team were beasts.

A bit of pace always helps though.

Not sure why we should

care about Gareth Southgate's judgement on what makes a good signing for Leicester City.

Don't get the Gibson hype at all, he'll be playing Championship football next season

Oh the footballing guru that is Southgate doesn't rate him. Call the deal off immediately!
