Until it's signed it's not done. A concrete last minute offer from a other club could easily stop a deal.

Do you have an example of a deal between English clubs that was agreed and then was hijacked? not taking about rumoured deals where clubs may be interested. We are told the clubs have agreed a fee on this.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 June 2017 Posted 13 June 2017 Medicals don't always mean imminent announcements, either. Mendy was unveiled about a fortnight after his was done and dusted.

The_77 Posted 13 June 2017 Posted 13 June 2017 Seriously if I read one more comment on here about centre backs needing pace I'll probably top myself. WE WON THE ****ING LEAGUE WITH WES MORGAN AND ROBERT HUTH IN CENTRE BACKMorgan might not have the quickest first step, but he's got pace.MAYBE IF I SHOUT THAT, IT BECOMES MORE TRUE.

desertfox2 Posted 13 June 2017 Posted 13 June 2017 16.5-17m for a 24-year-old proven prem quality CB is quite reasonable comparatively. If the figures in the sun and daily mail are accurate.

Russell sprout Posted 13 June 2017 Posted 13 June 2017 Think his head is 2 foot long and 3 foot wide though, he a fair old stocky unit aswell

A player for a Championship club and he has one year left on his deal and isn't wanted as a first team player by the big clubs. This should be a buyers market. It's also telling that Southgate rates him behind Keane and Gibson so we're probably getting the worst out the three available. This is the Southgate who selected and managed the shambles of an England team this evening?
