woznotwos Posted 17 May 2017 Posted 17 May 2017 Just my opinion on what i've saw of them both this season on the gogglebox , nothing more than that.
Edingleyfox Posted 17 May 2017 Posted 17 May 2017 We are not going to get Keane and this could be a good move for Leicester and the player. We need someone at the back that is mobile and good moving forward with the ball and Maguire looks promising. He seems very down to earth which is good. Most importantly we need to move early like we did with Ndidi in January.Last summer we seemed to leave things until the last minute and go for players with no PL experience at inflated prices.Essentially we get 3 or 4 in early and have a decent pre -season.
Lovejoy Posted 17 May 2017 Posted 17 May 2017 Can we have both Maguire and Gibson ? Given that Maguire's contract is up next year and they've just been relegated, could we pick him up for £10m or so?

I always wonder how much of it is the club acting slowly and how much of it is the potential signing dragging it out to see what other offers are around? I do hope we can get the signings done quickly for a good preseason but I fear it won't be the case.
foxes21 Posted 17 May 2017 Posted 17 May 2017 Everytime i've watched Gibson play which is probably about 10 times this season, he has looked average. The only thing that's impressed me was his ability on the ball & being left footed . But as far as tracking runners, positioning, being in the right place, winning duels, he's looked average. He's young and might improve, but his season has been overhyped for me. Get Omar Colley. Knows Ndidi & is a tank.

Obviously there are certain things like aerial duals and completed passes that are less about whether they are in a struggling team.

We should look at bringing both Maguire n Gibson in.

If Benny went and Morgan stayed I'd be more open to it, but unless someone wants to go I see absolutely no need to change two CB's now.

Fox 4 Life Posted 17 May 2017 Posted 17 May 2017 Not sure where people get the idea we can and should be doing better. We signed the square root of **** all last summer when we were premier league champions and in the champions league, why are we suddenly a more attractive proposition?

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 17 May 2017 Posted 17 May 2017 Seems ok to me from what I have seen and we definately need to be strengthened in that area
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 17 May 2017 Posted 17 May 2017 Throws his body on the line for his team, any players who has this trait I love. Anything else is a bonus.
dylanlegend Posted 17 May 2017 Posted 17 May 2017 He would be a great signing for us, he's a big lad and could potentially replace Huth. I'd personally rather him over Gibson and he will probably be cheaper. He's looked absolute quality in some games
