had 3 cold showers today. it’s gorgeous when you’re out in the sun but fu ck me i wish there was a button to switch the cu nt off when you get home.

Yes I have trees in my garden that are shedding their leaves, and I've never seen my grass so dry. The bottom of my garden looks like autumn

At Bradgate Park today they had a guy in the folly on Old John on fire watch duty.

 

The grass is dead and scorched dry but oddly the bracken is taller and lusher than I've ever seen it.

Hope it goes on and on and on. Fantastic stuff. 

 

Hopefully we can get it aligned for a plume sometime, get winds coming from the south and stand a real chance of breaking the record temp.
