Id love to offer some hard luck stories about late goals during that 2007-08 season.... lol

Oh here goes

We conceded 2 very late goals from a winning position and a drawing one.. they hadnt have gone in we have finished on 14 points not 11

:(

Well maybe you'll do even better than 14 points in the Prem League next season eh!

'Sadly' think both Derby and Forest will be in or near the play-off positions come the end of the season. Their squads are actually quite decent.

Hoping Bristol City keep their form up to make it more interesting.

Forest won't come close. Derby I think could though.

I don't want Bristol City to go up whilst Lee Johnson is in charge. Horrible little poison dwarf. Complains constantly, talks shite, and often has his team playing snide diving football.

To be fair, doesn't everyone about their team?

It's be funny to see those shit cvnts Sunderland have back to back relegations. Has that been done in modern times from top flight to third tier? I can't remember.

Cardiff & Wolves to come up for me. Would like Derby to come up as well. Close in proximity and easy 6 points as well.

Would argue it helped Wolves though, they were forced to change after that, and long term its had a massive positive effect.

Same for Leicester, Southampton, even Norwich went on a good run when dropping into the third tier (although its taken Sheff U a bit longer to recover), it has also helped Sheff United aswell.

Didnt help Florest though, they seem to stay stagnant alongside us :(

Not really. We appointed Kenny Jackett and got back up, only to hover around in the division doing exactly what we'd done before because we still had Steve Morgan & Jez Moxey running things as frugally as possible. Plus Jackett never had it in him to get us out of the Championship.

It was the new owners who changed everything. Zenga wasn't first choice because we sounded out Marco Silva who was interested but went for the Prem offers. Then Lopetegui turned us down for the Spain job at the last minute after pretty much agreeing to join us. Lambert was just a stop-gap so we didn't go down again after Zenga failed. Nuno was the first manager they really wanted and subsequently managed to get.

Was expecting him to at least hold out for a club like west brom lol

Sunderland ffs, that has to be the most brainless move within the past few years, swaps a cushy international job for a basket case club at the foot of the 2nd tier.

As long as Sunderland give him a free hand he will keep them up.

Fair comment, although pretty brainless move. Must be the money on offer. He will probably get them to stay up just, but he's on a hiding to nothing.

Turning to who's going up, would prefer Fulham or QPR, can't beat an overnight stay in the smoke. Apart from Leeds, everywhere else is rubbish. But both these teams look like middle table finishes.
