A Forest equaliser would have kept Barnsley up, either way fair play to Bolton and Burton both went out and showed some fight more than what can be said with Barnsley who were the only of the 3 with their future in their own hands.

We managed more points and scored more goals- whether it was better to watch I don't know.

 

That team is so underrated when spoken about by pundits, some of the football we played that year was sensational. 1 defeat after mid-December when the team was pissed, thrashing the form team at the time 4-1 (it should've been double), winning away without conceding at 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Can see Bristol City and Leeds being more of a force next season with a few adjustments here and there.

Shame that Preston narrowly missed out.

After the past few seasons, not sure why plenty of people still support Forest - good hopes at the start of the season but then drift away.

Bristol City are the worse for that. Get to 4th at Christmas, end season about 11th.

They support them because, like us, they are local people who don't support the club for glory but because they of the connection they have to the club. Did you give up on Leicester when they fell into league one? Did you give up after years of wallowing in the championship? What you've said is not what supporting a team is about, and isn't why most people follow a team.

I said it with tongue-in-cheek tbh.

The local media (especially East Midlands Today) seem to hype their fans up at the start of the season, giving them reasons they'll have a good season, but then they gradually fade away from the top half.
