Beat me to it! :D

Lydon/Rotten expresses some questionable views himself sometimes, mind you (pro-Brexit, I think).....though still a better option than Farage or Boris.

Doesn’t suffer fools  spot on with that saville thing. Rotten for pm.

On second thoughts, sacking the police off when they’re protecting you might just tip him over the edge.

Anyone clued up enough to know why Gove is backing this deal?

What's he playing at?

For a while, he's been advocating compromise on a Soft Brexit with the aim of renegotiating a looser UK-EU relationship over the coming years, after getting a mandate at a future election.

He might be concerned at the very real prospect of losing Brexit altogether - i.e. aiming to get to March 2019 with some sort of a deal, to avoid risk of a referendum or election before then.

Of course, he might have deeper calculations, too. If May's deal crashes in parliament and she is deposed, he could be in a good position to become the next leader/PM, having a long track record as a Brexiteer but being perceived as having compromised with Tory moderates and stayed loyal to May....

Can anyone sum up in a paragraph what this all means. (I have chosen not to follow brexit as it seemed to be something that you need to be fully involved with to understand.)

You8 guys have no idea about dealing with Prime Ministers... ours is sorted by two blokes and a BBQ

So, May's opponents would have to be confident that they had the support of 150+ Tory MPs.....quite apart from the difficulty of getting a replacement leader elected quickly enough not to derail the Brexit timetable, politics and business if they do manage to ditch May.

Rees-Mogg was on C4 News. While rejecting the deal, he said he hadn't put a "no confidence" letter in.

I think Mogg realises they have to be absolutely certain to get rid of her, some of the others seem to be very careless - the damage she could do with another year in charge could be monumental.

He's been advocating a soft Brexit with a future revisiting of the treaties for some time now.

I'm sure he's also got one eye on a leadership bid as well though.

Also May finally admits that 'no Brexit at all' is an option.

Lul.

House of cards has fallen as predicted.

Brexit, dead.

Unlucky.

Exactly. Remainers have been worrying for nothing over the last 2 years. Looks like this was the grand plan from day one, make the deal so s#ite it's unpalatable to everyone including the electorate. And 'Hey Presto' the mention now of No Brexit  pretty much confirms that.

It's the only reasoning that now makes sense, how at the end of all this has she managed to come back with a deal with annoys Tory Brexiteers, Tory Remainers, Labour Brexiteers, Labour Remainers, the DUP, the Scottish Tories and her own cabinet? She would have been far better off picking a side to stare down and doing it rather than trying to threaten everyone, it makes no sense at all.

Canada or Norway both had a better chance of getting through parliament than this. Where the hell my vote goes now in future I have no idea.

It means it's all a load of old bollox and people are wetting their knickers over nothing. Regardless of the final outcome, life will still go on as normal and nothing much will change for any of us on a day to day basis. Lots of huffing and puffing, noise and hot air, then we all crack on and start panicking about the next thing. The end.

What was ever the point of appointing Brexit secretaries who you were going to railroad? It's not as if the public weren't going to find out.

Bit weird this really. Surely Raaby already knew where this was going given he's been the one actually negotiating the deal? What does the Breggzit Sec actually do? Davies did fvck all whilst he was in the job.

They sit there while May and Robbins negotiate with Barnier so they can look like they have Brexiteer as part of the negotiation.

Same reason it appears Liam Fox has a job.

That is so naive, bro.
