So, Athletico Madrid have only conceded 4 goals at home in La Liga this season whilst Arsenal have failed to pick up a single point away in the PL this year.

The return leg could well be a bashing for the latter?..

some of that atleti defending was very similar to some game this time last year when they came to england an got a 1-1 draw despite having about one half chance and on another day they would’ve conceded 8. that can’t be a coincidence. reckon 95% of their training just involves how to get in the way of a shot heading towards the top corner.

Welbeck is genuinely awful. The amount of times he got into great crossing positions, all it needed was a driven ball across the box for a chance to score, but no, every single time he just turned back and passed to Monreal. Absolutely shocking player, why Wenger persists with him is beyond me as he is one of the players who doesn't deserve to be there.

As for Mustafi and Kos, what were they doing for that second goal?? Ozil, also nowhere to be seen.

Watching the highlights from last night and I'm so glad the ref sent off that twat Simeone.

Can't believe he got away with what he did when we were at their place and instead of sending him off the joke of the ref sent off our sports scientist for handing out gels!

Arsenal bottling it for Arsène.

Been the better team in an entertaining match, but it's Atlético who just are more clinical.

1-0 Diego Costa, and that just before half-time.

That Arsenal defense. lol

wouldn't class it 'bottling' considering Atletico's record at home. Only conceded 4 in the league there and haven't conceded since January at home.

If anything, they 'bottled' it in the first leg with the amount of chances they had.

The game today's been much more open so far, Arsenal have had more space in the Atlético half and probably a few more chances up front. Just don't possess that one striker to put them away.

Might be unpopular opinion but I ****ing love watching Atletico play.

Load of bollocks that Simeone is too defensive, he’d be an asset to the Premier League, can’t believe no one has got him yet. Arsenal should be breaking the ****ing bank!
