adam Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 Bizarre. Hamer is next to hopless. What a waste of money. No doubt he is on big wages too. Why sign him?
Grey Fox Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 We'll see on Tuesday who plays. That will be telling.

Think it's harsh to call Hamer "hopeless". Been quite impressed the times I've seen him bar Porto but everyone was wank that night

whoareyaaa Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 It must be shit to be a backup keeper at any club, knowing you have to train to never make the first eleven apart from the odd appearance in the cup until your knocked out. Strange one, Surely 2 goalies would be enough
ajthefox Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 What was the point in buying him if he isn't better than Hamer?
UniFox21 Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 Merit would suggest attitude on the training pitch maybe?
Will1981 Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 Hamer had a great pre season to bring fair to him.
dedlock Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 Hamer did take his chance when picked in preseason. You imagine that Stowell will have some input as GK coach, even though it is a sub being selected.

He came on a free transfer from Charlton don't think he is on big bucks played 10 games in our first season 4clean sheets in the premier, got us in the final of the Asia Cup v Liverpool ,Juko RRZ look like Rudkins special buys not Shakes

Jakupovic was solid first pick for hull last season at this level, hamer was ousted as second choice by a geriatric after six months.

lgfualol Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 He must be fvcking awful if Hamer gets on the bench ahead of him. I reckon he called Shakey fat and is being punished.

brucey Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Hamer has improved in the past few years, he's just reaching peak GK age isn't he.
adam Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 I hope he plays tonight. If not what was the point in signing him. We've seen enough of Hamer to realise he isn't up to much.
Collymore Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 I kind of get the feeling he's said something to piss Shaky or the team off. He comes across as quite a charismatic and confident individual. Maybe he's just being knocked down a peg or two? I'm purely speculating of course

I think they asked about him and CS reply was quite short, something along the lines of "he's not there because he's not been selected". Can't remember the exact wording.

So many massive mistakes it was ridiculous.
