Delph has something to prove, I wouldn't mind seeing him here.  Said the same for Townsend.

I'd take both as I don't think either would cost that much and both have got a lot of talent. Similar to Albrighton, something to prove.

Over-rated...

I do hope Iborra proves to be better than Drinky though.

I'd take a punt on Wilshere, could be a train wreck or could be the best midfielder in the country.

I think he meant Kante.

Not to mention Cambiasso.

I said this couple of weeks ago. We are crying out for a truly gifted and technical midfielder. Absolutely worth a punt on him.

We've signed two players better than Drinkwater in CM since we signed Drinkwater.

Neither of them do what Drinkwater does though.

Since we never even tried to replace Kante with a similar player I've no faith in us replacing Drinkwater.

Personally I think it's a nightmare if Drinkwater leaves. And all these other players being mentioned are either shit or different kind of players.

Delph and Wilshere are massively overrated.

We lack that spark and creativity he'd give us. But his injuries are a problem.

I like him. His close control is superb.

Maybe different is what we need. Our creativity in midfield at the moment is zero barring Ndidis driving runs.

He makes Mendy look bulletproof!..

Neither of them had to because we weren't after that sort of player. We've picked up Kante, N'didi and Cambiasso since being in the prem. We might be capable of finding a player better than DD. Maybe we won't, but we can't ignore the fact we have signed some good players in CM.

Well only Kanté of that 3 are better than Drinkwater but again they don't play the same game.

N'didi may become a better player but he makes a lot more errors than DD at the moment.

I'd rather be a game without DD than I would N'didi.

So how would you suggest getting players to stay who have ambitions to play at a higher level than us? Don't keep it a secret.

May be you should read my original post before going off at tangents. I merely commented that Shakey said in public we are not a selling club. Fuching Rudkin is paid to recruit not me.. Give him a call and ask him the question you asked me.

Firstly we don't have to be without either. We actually need them both.

Secondly stats can be interpreted in many ways. didn't you hear that Mahrez was the 20th hardest working player in the Prem last weekend.
