He's got a player in central midfielder who does a very good of what Kante does. Counter attack or not, Riyad has this lovely way of playing a through ball. He did it Friday night. Kelechi will help bring out the best of him as well We are ambitious. You don't just give up and say end of the dream. The club wants European football again. We want to keep our best players

I to be honest can imagine but I imagine our attack being world class and our defence sh1t so like man u when fergie retired
DatfoxesKid23 Posted 6 August 2017 Posted 6 August 2017 give us 45 million without addons and if he gets over 10 goals and assists then they pay us 20 million and a 20% sell on fee

Not sure he can afford to down tools. His stock is already relatively low due to the poor showing last season as evidenced by the lack of bids. A strike would surely make things worse and give him even less choices. His best bet would be to buckle down, try to recapture the 15/16 form and get a move in Jan for a price acceptable to the club.

Trust me, they won't allow that to happen again and will stand firm on the price they've put on Riyad regardless of any games his agent, interested clubs or the player himself try to play to force a move. It's £50m or nothing. Simple as that. Great news Albert, said in a few posts that we hold all the cards and our owners are rightly playing hardball and not budging

Wymsey Posted 6 August 2017 Posted 6 August 2017 It's quite clear that Roma are being somewhat disrespectful towards the club more than Mahrez. If he's sold, yes, we'll make a Tudy profit even at only £35m - but some of the skills he has produced against some of the best in one of the world's most-competitive leagues are quite rare to see and most fans know that, o his day, he's valuable as pure gold in football terms. The lowest, considering everything, I'd accept would be £45m. Just hope we activate a 'buy-back' clause - in case he turns up regularly (if he leaves) and performs strong consistently. Who knows, he might end up finishing in the top-six next season, whilst Roma fail to qualify for Europe and he wants to leave there potentially..
Almo-Fox Posted 6 August 2017 Posted 6 August 2017 it seems that roma will come with final acceptable offer just after mahrez give Leicester the 3 points on Friday ( at the same time a farewell )
Mickyblueeyes Posted 6 August 2017 Posted 6 August 2017 We are meant to be a small club with shit players. Yet... mahrez is wanted by a number of clubs who won't meet his asking price. drinkwater is allegedly chased by Chelsea Kasper should replace De Gea if he ever completes his move to Real Maguire should've signed for Spurs instead to boost his England call ups Kelechi is so talented Man City were desperate for a buy back clause. Vardy should've gone to Arsenal Ndidi is listed as a possible partner to Pogba at United Gray is chased by Liverpool and Spurs Chilwell was seen as Liverpools answer to their full back problem where are all these shit/mediocre players than? Signing for Roma in a what is a poor league and playing for what is a poor national team will not enhance Mahrez appeal. Don't jump at the first girl who caught your eye. Earn the move you really want.

We had a similar situation with Benatia 3 years ago; we were happy to keep him and he had 4 years left on his contract. Still, Bayern was offering too much money to the player and we ended up losing him for cheap. The only difference between you and us is that Mahrez is not an ass and hasn't shown any sign of disengagement. You do actually have a shot at keeping him hence. If we don`t get an offer we feel is acceptable before the transfer window shuts, then he will still be here, it really is that simple. He may have preferred to be somewhere else but ultimately he will know, or should know, that performing well for us will be in his best interests, because it will more likely attract the kind of clubs he wants to move too, whether that be in January or the end of the coming season. So far in pre season he has shown no signs of throwing his toys out the pram, and has actually shown some glimpses of the player we know he can be, whether that`s just to try and catch the eye of interested clubs or not i don`t know, i suppose we will have a better idea of that if he stays beyond the transfer window. For what it`s worth i think he will be gone, but i highly doubt it will be for anything like the money that you are currently offering.
jayfox26 Posted 6 August 2017 Posted 6 August 2017 As much as i would prefer Mahrez to go abroad rather than join another prem team, i really dont want him to go to Roma. He will never win anything there and their fans have proven to be just as bad as Spurs and Arsenal fans. If we were linked with a player from a foreign team but we kept having bids rejected, i highly doubt any of our fans would be spouting off saying we hope that team gets relegated etc. Bunch of ***** and they can piss off with their crap offers way below his valuation!

Bear in mind that Roma is a madhouse when it comes to football. Supporters can range from those who wish Leicester to be relegated to those (like myself) who even went out to celebrate with friends. We've got nothing in common with neither Spurs nor Arsenal fans.
