Samilktray Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 I just really like PSG alot, they're the only club I go out of my way to make sure I watch other than us and also like Ajax. Struggle to dislike clubs because if I don't care for a club I don't care for them.
Blue ROI Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 I'd be Neutral also towards so called defensive boring sides. Some teams who play with style have to get down and dirty to succeed too. Teams should always go out to be competive. If teams can break anoher down then thats their problem.
Dan Posted 8 August 2017 Posted 8 August 2017 Find it intriguing how much Man City aren't disliked (not saying I dislike them either, just thought more would have them).
chicagofox Posted 8 August 2017 Posted 8 August 2017 I like Fulham. Growing up where I did in London, if my dad hadn't been a City fan I think I'd have ended up supporting Fulham.

foxgas Posted 8 August 2017 Posted 8 August 2017 Mildly dislike Crawley- creepy Dislike- Millwall, Leeds,Wolves. Hate- Celtic because their supporters are the pitts.
ParkerPen Posted 8 August 2017 Posted 8 August 2017 like : Kettering (home town club), AFC Wimbledon (because not franchise), Torino (just look at their classic kit - a thing of absolute beauty) severe dislike : MK 'Dons' (because franchise) West Ham (stadium nonsense - although it's not really worked out for them haha)

Funny you mention them. Does it grate on anyone how much Man City have taken the name 'City' as their own? They are almost universally known as 'City' when there are loads of teams with City in their name? Did this happen before they got their investment? I can't remember really. It might just be me though

It might just be me though I point blank refuse to call them 'City' and the same for Man Utd as well. I think they're quite inoffensive but they're a little boring at times. The worst thing about Man City in my eyes is how dreadful their atmosphere is in Europe. It's appalling.

The atmosphere at the game last season was odd. Pretty much silence then they were singing songs in support of Ranieri. Bizarre.

AlloverthefloorYesNdidi Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 I like Liverpool as a city and have mates there who support Liverpool, and have enjoyed them under Klopp However, Carragher as a pundit last season annoyed me and now i'm a bit torn between quite liking them but liking to see him suffer a bit
foxy boxing Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 I always look for Northampton Town as they are pretty near and I went to watch them once! My dads a Glasgow Rangers fan so i look for their results too! I can't stand Wolves because of the whole Mark Mcghee thing!
Max Wall Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 Like Everton Sheffield Wednesday Burton Albion Ipswich Scunthorpe Gillingham (always liked the name for some strange reason) Spurs (until a few years ago, always wanted them to bloody the traditional big clubs nose) Almost all irrational Dislike Spurs (see above) Man Utd (Ferguson mainly, bullying officials, banning anyone who dared to disagree with him, lived in Aberdeen when he was manager there and couldn't stand him then either. Great manager but an egotistical despot. Almost single handedly responsible for the current moany, it's never my fault manager that blights the modern game.) Aberdeen (see above) Leeds Sheffield United Bristol City (just wankers) Florest Edit Just noticed national teams are cropping up so I'll add Netherlands (Call the English arrogant but they top the list on that score) Scotland (went to school there in the 70's, they blame us for the veruca on their Aunties foot aswell as everything else. Religiously wore my England kit to gym lessons so did myself no favours but you got to stand your ground. Would have been abused whether I had the kit or not anyway.) Neither here nor there about about for some reason Chelsea Derby

Never felt like a conflict liking Liverpool and Notts. Never had you down as that much of a Zutons fan mate!

Guest seanfox778 Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 Like Sheffield Wednesday - no real reason, just a likeable club. Leeds - not so much these days but I used to enjoy watching them in the late 90s/early 00s. Except Lee Bowyer, he was always a douchebag. Southampton - I think I just feel a bit sorry for them producing decent teams and Liverpool nicking their players. Man City - not so much over the past couple of seasons but that Aguero season finale was spectacular. Celtic - the league is pure dross but I'm from an Irish family that were always Celtic fans and some of their Champions League performances in the past were to be admired. Dislike Rangers - scummy club Milwall - ditto, I can't imagine anyone other than a Milwall supporter having anything nice to say about them. Burnley - all those 0-1's in the first 5/6 years of the Walkers Stadium and we've had a sort of rivalry with them since our Championship winning season and Sean Dyche's voice of course. Spurs - Can't stand Deli Ali and their diving antics. Horrible supporters too, can't wait till their team falls apart. Sheffield United - they're just the opposite of Wednesday. Bradford - no real reason, they just pi**ed me off in an early 00s game when we lost to them at Filbert Street. Liverpool - fans and manager just think they're amazing. Lallana is a tool and they have that really mundane stadium announcer. Jamie Carragher is a tit as well. Hull - they just don't count as a football team for me, a very weird club. Nottingham Forest - tw*ts. West Ham - I used to like West Ham but it's something to do with their current owners being linked with every player imaginable with no intention of signing them just to create a false buzz among their fans. Arsenal - again I used to like them till our title winning season when we were exposed first hand to their whiney, moaning, self entitled attitudes. Hope they never make the Champions League again.
smallpauldj Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 LIKE Northampton Town - Blackburn at Wembley they was listed bottom of the old div 4 followed them ever since. Even went Wembley to see to them vs Grimsby Town - which is why I like them to plus songs like we only sing when were fishing. Liverpool - Supported them as a kid when I never knew Leicester even had a team. My uncle took me to watch city the rest is history. Inverness cal Thistle - I used to be a van driver, one day while in inverness I asked to take some pics of there ground from inside, they gave me the full tour Burton Albion - Before we played Cardiff in the play offs went here the day before to watch them play Grimsby. Kevin Poole played in goal for Burton. MK Dons - Their ground, love it! see the action from the concourse, seats are amazing. Max Gradel in the 94th. memory's DISLIKE Palace - Hate them always have, don't even have a reason. Made Wembley all that sweeter. West Ham - The West Ham fans seem to think They support the biggest team in the world. Chelsea - We hate Nottingham Forest, we hate Derby to, and Chelsea. simple logic to hate a team Burnley - They seem to be getting a ribbing on here all because their manager haha Cardiff - Again the fans, although its one of my favourite away days. Don't know why though we never win there. Reading - Another I have no clue why I dislike them I just really don't like them haha
TrentFox Posted 10 August 2017 Posted 10 August 2017 Like Huddersfield - in common with many, it seems. Carlisle - goes back to Chris Balderstone, for those of you with good memories!! Dislike Life is too short, but do find myself always wanting Millwall to lose.
Livid Posted 10 August 2017 Posted 10 August 2017 I think I may have missed Portsmouth off my hate list, it's probably because of where they hang out these days but I hate those feckers with a passion. Oh it's because the thread was like/dislike not hate until your dying breathe
Soupy Posted 10 August 2017 Posted 10 August 2017 Lets see.. Like : Spurs : I've always had a soft spot for them. They are kind off the underdogs of London football, they've most played enjoyable football and the current squad is full of bright young English players. Sampdoria : Football Italia. Vialli, Mancini, Lombardo - Hell yeah. Plus the name Sampdoria is just beautiful. Norwich : The professional team I live closest too. They have a certain quirkiness and are generally inoffensive. King's Lynn : I live here. Ayr Utd : Many years ago I decided I needed to have a Scottish team to support, after looking at the division tables I settled on Ayr Utd. They've spend most of the years I've been following them in the 2rd tier of Scottish footy, sadly now they've dropped to the 3rd tier. Dislike : Crystal Palace : Had a mate who did something real dick'ish to me, he supported Palace. Sunderland : I actually feel sorry for their fans, because they just always seem to be such a wretched club, playing dire football. B. Munich : German football would be much more interesting without them.
Stadt Posted 10 August 2017 Posted 10 August 2017 People calling Rangers or Celtic scummy whilst liking the other one are blinkered. Both awful clubs.
