Is it strange to have a soft spot for Derby? Have a few friends who support Derby as die hard as I support Leicester, so it's nice to see them doing well.

(although the inevitable post Christmas slump is always good fun)

Strange?  It's downright indecent.

I dislike almost all other English clubs in the top two tiers. lol

I feel no real affinity for any of them. I'd probably say right now that I hope Brighton and Huddersfield stay up but if they're having a more impressive season by the time we play them and their fans get smug about it I'll decide I can't stand them. lol

I'm just a bit petty. I still smirk to myself at Plymouth's plight because I still hold some resentment for the stick they gave us after Ollie took us down even though I know I'd have felt the same in their shoes hahaha.

Like:

Peterhead - managed them on LMA Manager and followed their results ever since

Spurs - Always been an entertaining side and really enjoy watching them in full flow

Leeds - Great fans (in terms of following their team and making a decent noise) also know a couple that are pretty sound

Rayo Vallecano - Ever since they went down to 9 men against Barca and took off a defender for an attacking midfielder. Got whalloped but managed to score with 9 mean!

Dislike:

Any teams that play turgid boring football with the soul intention of not conceding goals. (Happens to be ourselves quite a bit :D )

Did any of them clamour to have the guy become manager at their club?

I feel indifferent to most clubs who aren't City, to be honest.

I used to like Arsenal, but now have a strange relationship with them. They used to play incredible football, unlike anything I'd ever seen before... And Henry & Bergkamp are probably my two favourite players of the PL era. I've gone off them since the City "rivalry" of the title winning season and their antics, but I also live a stones-throw from the Emirates and their supporters have always been pretty decent.

Like:

Fiorentina - Stems from my 90's love of Gazzetta Football Italia. Love the colour of their kits and Gabi Batistuta was one of my all time favourite players.

Sampdoria - See above, I've also consistently loved their kits and latched onto Vincenzo Montella for some reason when he was playing for them.

Betis - They were incredible during some of my favourite Championship Manager years in the mid-late 90s, with players like Denilson, Oliveira and Alfonso Perez. I just picked up a liking for them.

Torquay - My other half is from the town, and we spend a lot of time there. They're absolute doggo too, and that's quite endearing.

Dislike:

Millwall - Can't stand knuckle-dragging thug supporters, they have the worst and they're somehow proud of it.

Lazio - Obviously

Bayern - something about them as a big club I just really like, especially the squad

Frankfurt - struct a big of a liking to them over the past season couldn't tell you why

Northampton - first ever football game I saw was them so always want them to do alright

Hate:

Wednesday - went to uni in sheff every Wednesday fan I met seemed to be a massive nobhead, probably didn't help that I knew some blades too lol

West Ham - despise most of the fans

MK Dons - tinpot disgusting stain on English football

Admire

Southampton - I like a club which doesn't change its principles when it changes its management team, their ability to buy well & promote from within is fantastic

Burton - A great rise up the divisions. Seem, from the outside, a well ran club... And I used to work in Burton

Dislike

Liverpool - Their permanent victim status of not only the club but the whole city. Everyone in my primary school was a Liverpool fan when I was a kid, bastard glory boys. And that accent urgh!

Swindon - Ever since Hoddle got Joachin sent off & THAT playoff final penalty... Wait, that is Leicester related

Spurs - Lightweight bottlers, when I was a kid & now

Only clubs I'd dislike would be largely based on how well-behaved opposition fans are or whether they're owned by proper football people and not those in there to damage the club. In these cases:

Like:

Brighton

Bournemouth

Southampton

Both Sheffield clubs

Oxford United

Dislike:

Millwall

Stoke

Coventry

Aston Villa

Birmingham

Nottingham Forest

Leeds

Manchester City

Burton Albion - Local to me and weirdly started to rapidly rise through the leagues when I attended a few of their games. Nice fans that hate Derby too.

Crewe - Always play decent football and Barry Bennell aside, are a likeable club with a good academy system.

Dislike

Sunderland - Some of the most fickle fans in football, Half the ground regularly empties at half time when they are behind.

Chelsea - Their fan's used to be some of the best away from home in the 90's, now a bunch of plastics and people who seemingly arrive straight from the office. Oh and the buying up and loaning of players.

Leeds - How long have you got? Horrible fans, always cause trouble and still have delusions of grandeur after over a decade out of the top flight.

Aye, I was born in Burton so have a soft spot from them too and genuinely think they have been a really well run club in the last 15 years or so, glad to see them doing well.

I also like Arsenal (bear with me).  I know, I know, they are an easy team to dislike recently but the early Wenger teams are some of the best I have ever seen in the Premier League and I really like the way they played football.  I think Wenger (though I'll admit he has become a slight joke recently) was a revolutionary and I think the Invincibles is the greatest achievement in Premier League history apart from our miracle season.  Part of me would love to see them beat Chelsea, Man City, etc.

Very harsh to label a whole City.

Not sure where you're getting it from anyway, whenever I visit Liverpool they are genuinely nice and sound people.

Burton, nice little club.

Forest Green, even littler, & possibly even nicer. 'Village team'.....feels like any of us could have played for them.  In our prime.  Maybe.

Mansfield.  Leicester lite.

Atletico Madrid.  Leicester with a sun tan.

Bradford.  Size of those crowds!

Dislike:

(cos. of their fans)

Millwall.  Knuckle-dragging retards.

Leeds.  Ditto.

Spurs.  Arrogant bastrds...

Liverpool.  Whingers.

I've always hated Spurs, ManU obviously and all the West Midland teams except for WBA. I'm quite fond of Arsenal and Man City.

Like:
Huddersfield: Lived there for three years, decent fans, good owner and hope they stay up this season.
Oxford United: Got a good mate who supports them.
Barnsley: Love their ground and that loan move seems to have done Matty James the world of good.
VFL Bochum: Obviously the friendship, but a top bunch of lads!
Southampton: Their academy and youth policy is very commendable. Would love to see us promote even more from the academy.

Dislike:
Sunderland: Their fans seem really entitled despite the fact that they clogged up the league for years.
Arsenal: Really bothers me that we've not beaten them in so long. Hate them so much.
Liverpool: The entitlement, but also because I've got Everton in my family.
Aston Villa: Same as Sunderland.

There are things I hate about us to be fair though that certainly isn't one of them.
I hate some of our fans with a passion. Especially those that sing 'Champions of England, you'll never sing that' at teams who have won the league before.

Of the big clubs Man City and Man United piss me off the least, amazingly I don't really know any Utd plastics. Their away fans are decent and the proper fans of both seem quite knowledgable too.

Southampton are alright, quite comparable to us and they're inoffensive.

I dislike the rest of the top flight clubs

I don't mind the two Manchester clubs either . United because they've played some of the best football I've ever seen and are still a huge club and City

because despite all the present day cash they still remember when they were crap with nostalgia ( mark of true fans ).

My only really dislikes are Leeds and Forest .. racist scum bags and .... what is there to like about Forest ?
