Arriba Los Zorros Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Any teams out there that aren't local rivals who you have a particular like or dislike for and the reason if any, doesn't have to be rational? Here are mine: Like Ipswich - Had a soft spot for them ever since they had their run into the top 4 almost 20 years ago. Plus, think they have a tradition of good football, and as a kid liked their club badge. Fans of theirs seem friendly and quite happy to talk football too. Torquay - Nice place, liked the colours of their kit as a kid and it's stuck Macclesfield Town - Literally no reason. Dated a girl from there once and got her to take me to Moss Rose which didn't go down well. Southampton - Initially loved Matt le Tissier. Recently I have a huge respect for how they are run and the style of football they encourage. Northampton Town - No real reason just like them. (overseas) Real Zaragoza - had a brilliant night out in Zaragoza once and it's a lovely place and they are now the Spanish team I 'support' - shame they are crap. Dislike Birmingham City - Horrible place, horrible fans, horrible team and now Harry is there. Hope they go down this year Wolves - Birmingham lite. Lot of lowlifes in the west Midlands. Apologies to that Wolves fan on here, he seems OK. Millwall - How can anyone not despise them just the worst elements of English football mixed together in a xenophobic, thuggish, backwards cocktail Morecambe - No real reason why just always want them to lose Burnley - The absolute epitome of classless Northern monkeys in my mind! Plus Sean Dyche is a hateable, hateable man. Plus I've seen then win 0-1 at our place twice which is 2 times too many (although thats LCFC related) Dagenham and Redbridge - Millwall lite to me, bunch of orrible thugs from the rough parts of London who can't say a two words without once being an obscenity and the team play awful hoofball, I made the mistake of going recently.
foxfanazer Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Like, Huddersfield Southampton Chelsea (odd one I know) Norwich overseas team is Linense (Spanish division b4) Dislike United Spurs Forest Wolves Cardiff Millwall Burnley Hull Watford Villa Stoke Leeds Sunderland the list is endless
Durnerz Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Like Burton Albion - Local to me and weirdly started to rapidly rise through the leagues when I attended a few of their games. Nice fans that hate Derby too. Crewe - Always play decent football and Barry Bennell aside, are a likeable club with a good academy system.Dislike Sunderland - Some of the most fickle fans in football, Half the ground regularly empties at half time when they are behind. Chelsea - Their fan's used to be some of the best away from home in the 90's, now a bunch of plastics and people who seemingly arrive straight from the office. Oh and the buying up and loaning of players. Leeds - How long have you got? Horrible fans, always cause trouble and still have delusions of grandeur after over a decade out of the top flight.

Morecambe seems a really odd choice to dislike...

Hard to dislike them much after that apart from signing Kante but even that couldn't bring myself to dislike him for leaving.

Guest Bilo Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Like Everton - Decent bunch of fans who were very complimentary about us when we won the league on a day where their team were definitely the bridesmaids. Swansea - Friendly bunch who are fairly knowledgeable and have tried to go about the whole Premier League business in a responsible way without oligarchs or Sheikhs. Lincoln - Localish for me and their fans are a decent sort. I've always felt they've underachieved as a club and would love to see them at a higher level, hoping last season can be the catalyst. Sheffield Wednesday - We're all Wednesday, aren't we? Ground that oozes character from every brick, decent fans and an away day I miss terribly. VfL Bochum (abroad) - Not strictly neutral due to the fan partnership, but a very decent bunch of lads. Dislike Crystal Palace - Four years in the Premier League has messed with their heads. Their fans think they're the English Galatasaray in the stands and the next big thing on it. London clubs' fans have a propensity for arrogance, but this lot have taken it to the next level. Millwall - An obvious choice, but a more braindead rabble of Neanderthal scumbags you couldn't wish to meet. Cardiff - See above. Add pussying out of a boycott over switching to red. Milton Keynes - No, I won't call them the Dons. The Dons play in South London. Immoral formation and fan base formed primarily of people going to stadium:mk because their first team has sold out. Bristol City - High proportion of racist, knuckle dragging cockwombles. Ashton Gate is a dreadful away day. Club's never achieved anything despite being based in one of England's largest cities, which makes me irrationally angry. Watford - Breathtakingly arrogant fans considering they've never won so much as an egg cup. Hull - Irrelevant club desperate for someone to hate them. Leeds, either Sheffield club, us, anyone. We've moved on from Pearson, and so should they. Lazio (abroad): Neo Nazi shitlords.

Brooksy Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Like Birmingham Bristol Rovers Dislike Arsenal Tottenham Man United Villa Millwall Hull Bournemouth Bristol City Cardiff
Suzie the Fox Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Likes Newcastle (Pls dont hate me) Barcelona - Just because Dislikes Tottenham - No explanation needed Arsenal - Fans...& Arrogant up his own arse dickhead Manager.
TiffToff88 Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Like: Norwich - Have some family from there. Mansfield - Bit of a soft spot for them as one of the players i coach is a die hard fan and makes it very hard not to like them, Dislike: The obvious nutjob xenophobic fans clubs, such as Milwall and Leeds. Other than that, i don't see the point in disliking a team/set of fans just because they support a different team to me. Oh, the only exception i have to that rule is Tottenham. Never want to see them win anything ever again, purely because of that "Leicester are Nobodies" Pr!ck from the year the nobodies won the league...
Uncle Phil Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 I don't mind - Middlesbrough, Yeovil and Juve (Nedved!) Dislike - Apart from the obvious, Plymouth, Liverpool, Arsenal and Charlton.
foxfanazer Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Also really dislike Sheff United. Think it was the Warnock days in the championship
Bamba's Babes Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Like Chelsea Barnsley Burton Albion Sheffield Wednesday Fulham Bradford Dislike Everton (used to like them) Tottenham Arsenal Aston Villa Norwich Bournemouth Forest Derby Coventry Blackpool Plymouth Portsmouth Burnley Watford West Ham Stoke Cardiff Wolves Bolton Boro Reading

Clever Fox Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Like Middlesborough They always seem to try and do things the right way. a bit like us. Their Fans are great also. Dislike Arsenal Utd Chelsea Millwall
SkidsFox Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Likes: Everton. Not the team, but their supporters. Whenever I meet a "toffee" they seem sociable and informed. Liverpool. Just because they put Man U's nose out of joint for so many years Real Madrid. I know they are hated by many Brit fans (especially the big city club supporters who feel entitled) but good to see them get one over the Man Us and Arsenals of this world Atletico Madrid See above Notts County. The only other east Midlands club I can bear. QPR. Great fans who will tell you "there is only ONE team in west London, and it isn't Chelsea or Fulham". Dislikes: Man U. Not so much nowadays, but their fans were unbearable for several decades. Nottm Forest. Do we need a reason? Millwall. It's not so much their bad behaviour, it's all their whining as a consequence "no one likes us..." The Italian national team. Plenty of skilful players, but when they go a goal up, it's park the bus time, plus niggly fouls. Been the same for 40 years Wolves. Maybe have been unlucky, but every Wolves fan I've met has been the entitled "we're a bigger club than Leicester because of the 50s" geek.
wardyfox86 Posted 7 August 2017 Posted 7 August 2017 Is it strange to have a soft spot for Derby? Have a few friends who support Derby as die hard as I support Leicester, so it's nice to see them doing well. (although the inevitable post Christmas slump is always good fun)
