Great idea!

Pay a fortune for our stupid tunnel club and to prove how great it is here's a picture of the 4 people who could be bothered to turn up, one of whom is looking the wrong way. Oh and half those players won't be there by the time it's open as we won't be able to afford their wage, because of this stadium. £15K pls.

Can see how this will pan out, players will resent being gawped at like some circus freaks so will rush by ensuring they don't look in the direction of the window. The mugs who have paid for this complain so the club get the players acting out red hot football chat like a bad movie, and dancing for the them, Jamie Vardy walks past after tearing them apart all afternoon efffing and Jeffing and taking the right Royal piss.  lol

What on earth is going on then? Are we even trying to expand or re-locate?

40-45,000 would be perfect, I don't get why it isn't being done?

It should be

Sadly Chelsea will buy it this time next year

sad fvckers.

Stadium expansion is a no brainier. I know plenty of people who can't warrant buying a ST (family/work commitments) but would still attend 50% of games - yet struggle to because of lack of purchasable seats (finding 2 or more together) and a piss poor membership system.

9,000 tickets left this morning against Manchester City in the QF going on general sale after ST holders and members have had their fill.

This will as good as sell out just like every other round so far when we played Liverpool and Leeds, it shows there is demand in the thousands from non members and ST holders and a lot of these people would jump at the chance to buy a ST if there was availability coupled with the excitement of a bigger ground.

It's time to release the shackles and let the club grow naturally to the next level and compete long term with the biggest clubs outside the top six like Everton, West Ham and Newcastle.

How many of those season tickets are even being used by the same people every week? Its a must that we have to expand however sticking another soulless concrete tier would be a let down and something that will be there for the next 20 years plus. I'd like to see a full stadium revamp built in phases on the same site.

The thing that's holding us back at the moment is the fvcking shite membership scheme. £60 for the privilege to buy overpriced match by match tickets, utter scam.

It does, when tickets are a decent price. Put the prices up to the equivalent of what an adult ST costs per match and we'd have got nowhere near close, especially for the Leeds game.

Compare our attendance to Everton and Spurs in previous rounds and we still got a bigger gate despite both of those clubs charging similar prices to us.

Think Man City will still be close to a sell out.

Its coming up for xmas and people have bigger priorities.

Try getting tickets for a league match is a much differnet story.

The Man City one is a bit of an unfair gauge of demand really. Yes it's a QF, but in a competition that has been hugely devalued, particularly this year. But more importantly, ST holders and members are likely to be struggling to justify extra expense, particularly as it's just before Christmas, and there will naturally be less demand from ST holders and members as the opposition is not new to this group of fans. However, general sale will likely see this as an opportunity to see top class opposition for a decent price, something that is unlikely to pull your average ST holder/member.

Personally, I also feel that there is less demand from the ST/member group for this competition due to our recent spoils in the Champions League. I live away from Leicester, however a few years ago I would have fought for a QF ticket in the league cup, however after witnessing a CL QF the appetite is just not quite the same. In a few years time when the novelty has wore off I am sure the desire to see these sorts of games will return.

I will just take the price of the tickets off what I was going to spend on my missus at Christmas. Simple!

She'll owe you money by the end of that.

A lot of ST holders will hold back until general Sale so they can get extra tickets for family/friends who haven't got ST so they can all sit together. I did that for the last cup game so we were 2+4.

Fair point!

I'm all for a stadium expansion; 1) because i'm one of the many that cant justify a ST but do like to go down to as many games as I can get to on Saturdays, would be great to be able to get 2 tickets together again and 2) It would be immense to see 45,000 leicester fans at a game, just imagine the atmosphere we could build up.

However, football is so unpredictable and up and down, i'd hate for us to end up with a half empty stadium down in the Championship one day. I can't see it personally but I for one am proud of what we have at the moment, a well supported club and a full house every week.

Most of our home games have made general sale. I know Spurs have also.

The problem is it will be the odd single seat scattered all over the stadium.

The problem isn't just single match tickets though, it's getting season tickets. If we expanded we could sell another 5-6,000 season tickets and I think the demand would be there for them. Last season there was something like 300 season tickets that went to a ballot with a potential of 6,000 applying, and that was only the top tier members.

So before match tickets are even sold on a game by game basis we would have 30,000 (assuming everyone turns up who has a ST). Then as you say, it would also be easier to get tickets together rather than single seats once tickets to go on sale to Members/general sale. I think if we upgraded we would regularly get 35-36,000 even for average games. Big games would sell out most weeks.

I think that is realistic bud I agree
