It could be the West Stand and East Stand?

The stadium could do with more corporate hospitality and more boxes. It's relatively small compared to some clubs. Please no 'tunnel club' though.

The only established Premiership teams are:

ArsenalLiverpool, Manchester UnitedEvertonTottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.

Every other bugger has been relegated.

Well actually, Stoke, Huddersfield, Swansea, Bournemouth and Brighton have never been relegated. If you want to be a smart arse.

It's a god awful corporate hospitality that Man City now have where you can see the players in the tunnel via two-way glass whilst you wine and dine.

One way glass isn't it? So, just in case you wanted to watch Agueros behaviour discreetly before interrogating him about his play-acting the other night.

Sounds awful.

And just to clarify, when you say "two-way glass", you mean glass? :dunno:

There will also be one at the Spurs new ground.

They have their own cheese room too!

"the Tunnel Club will provide one of the elite premium experiences the club has unveiled, with one-way glass panels lining the tunnel. The players will not in return be able to gaze at the lucky 104 supporters enjoying their fine dining in this area...The most expensive seats in the exclusive “H Club” will cost an even prettier penny. A £15,000 joining fee – and any client must buy a pair of tickets – will put any takers back £30,000 before watching even a minute of football. It includes the kind of attention to detail that offers a cheese room for clients to select their own specially sourced half-time cheeses."

Leeds, Forest, Derby, Wolves, Villa, Sheff United, Sheff Wed, Birmingham City the Championship is full of teams that at one point not too long ago considered themselves established premier league clubs.

I believe they've just taken Arsenal's title of 'nonciest club in England'. Staggering.

No I mean two-way glass.

"one-way mirror, also called two-way mirror[1] (or two-way glass)". From Wikipedia.

The whole "being established" thing is bollocks.

Villa were a top flight team for 30 years before they got relegated, Newcastle were a top flight team for 20 years, Cov were a top flight team for 45 years. It doesn't really matter. Everton have been a top flight team for 60 years but in 2003 they weren't that far at all from going down instead of us.

It seems almost unthinkable that any of the top 6 could get relegated now with the difference in finances but for me it just highlights that there's a very good chance we will re-visit the second tier in the next 10, 20 years, so why don't we just fvcking expand while we can and while there is demand? Let's face it, if we go back down, all it takes is one season down there and interest would soon decline down to 20 odd thousand anyway.

And just to go back to the point about demand briefly: I don't even bother trying for home games anymore because I live away and it simply doesn't work for me unless I know well in advance I've got a ticket. And even when I do go, it'll often be using someone elses ticket so I'm on my ones instead of with my mates or my old man. I'm fairly confident there are thousands of others in a similar boat to myself, many of whom who have children/future city fans to raise...

This tunnel club thing sounds great. I mean it must be great eating a meal watching players with hands in shorts adjust themselves before they go out.

I bet it's a selling point for some parts of the fan base. Not one I'd want to spend money on.

I don't think it's a horrific idea, as long as there are areas in the ground that cater for other people's desired way of watching the game. IE standing areas.

Sheff Utd and Birmingham have never been considered established premier league clubs.

Leeds and Forest have not been in the premier league for over a decade and both have had long stints in league 1.

Villa are the only team who could be considered established simply because of their huge fan base.

They've definitely redefined what's classed as entertainment, so they've got that right.

Unfortunately this entertainment bollocks is what is driving ground expansion. Liverpool's new stand is choc full of the stuff, and that is the only reason they built it because even the cheapest hospitality seats in there will be 3 times the price of your normal punters ticket.

They don't give a shit about the majority of fans.

If they want to do something more interesting do what Malcolm Allison did in the 1970's, either at Man City or Palace. They had Fiona Richmond in the players changing room, photos appeared with players in the bath and Fiona topless, can't remember if she got starkers or not, but it made for an interesting set of photos.

Sounds like a microcosm of modern society where ever greater resources are set aside for a super-rich elite driven by the ever increasing concentration of wealth.
