Superb cross from Chilwell for that goal

I thought he had a good game today though I'm sure a bunch of FT tossers will say otherwise.

Algeria lost 2-1 against Iran today, in a friendly played in Graz, Austria.

Mahrez was substituted in the 68th minute, wasn't involved in Algeria's sole goal and didn't have a good game, either.

Love seeing a club legend score for England. Vardy and Maguire should be guaranteed starters

To be fair I think Maguire is.

Shame Southgate has and probably never will try Vardy and Kane together meaning the former won't get as much game time as he deserves.

As it stands Maguire is at worst the 2nd choice centre half I reckon.

Absolute guaranteed starter if we go 3 at the back.

Hopefully this international break hasn't wrecked his form. It seems like such a toxic environment to play in at the moment, fans blocking off the team coach holding signs wanting the new manager out, and the manager refusing to speak to the local press even after winning.

It’s insane isn’t it? Our two most likely match-winners and we haven't found a way to have them on the pitch at the same

time, effectively.

Just a bit of a feel good post really but this international break we had....

1 Captain

1 Vice Captain

2 Goal Scorers

1 Assist Maker

1 First Choice Centre Back

.... all competing for England at Senior and Under21 Level.

Amongst all our other achievements recently I don’t think anyone could have dreamt of that a few years ago!

So many seem to doubt or under rate vardy

This season should dispel the notion he needs acres of space and a ball over the top to score goals. Plenty of goals from within the 18 yard box from short passes and crosses across the front of goal.

Schmeichel helped Denmark to a 0-0 draw against Chile, extending their record unbeaten run to 13 games.

He started a bit iffy with some wayward distribution, but made a great save after about 10 minutes pushing a looping header arrowing towards the far corner onto the crossbar with a defender subsequently clearing.

Looked pretty assured the rest of the time, with moderate success on his long kicks.

Didn't have another save to make of note.

Crazy to think that in the entire history of the club we have had 5 players at world cups. We're almost certain to have more than that (possibly as many as double) in one world cup this summer!

And 3 World cup winners as Nigeria march to the title.

Chance for Shinji to get back into Japan national team as JFA has sucked sacked the national team manager Vahid Halilhodzic and

has appointed Akira Nishino who has experience coaching the national team for 1996 Olympic.

Algeria lost 3-2 against Cape Verde yesterday! lol

Riyad in the starting XI, with the corner and an assist for Bensebaini (Rennes FC) to head it in from close range to give Algeria a 1-0 lead after six minutes.

A Brahimi cross on the left found Bounedjah (Al Sadd, Qatar) in the center for another headed goal after 30 minutes for a 2-1 lead.

Slimani was on the bench and came on for Bounedjah in the 73rd minute.

Comical goalkeeping, atrocious defending and strikers unable to score cost Algeria dearly. They definitely need a proper goalkeeper in goal. :D

Rumours of national team coach Madjer getting the sack very soon.
