Dames Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 Better make the most of this because as soon as Huth is back he'll be on our bench and out of the England Squad. Other than that its totally well deserved.

Matt Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 Think i'm a little bit in love with Maguire! Quality signing. All that said, urgh, England, urgh, International football I just hope this injury isn't anything reoccuring or leading to anything serious. I didn't realise he had a knee injury in the past until the other day and I saw his knee strapped up with ice on it after the game on Tuesday.
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 Genuinely believe our young CB will be a future England captain. He's just got that persona about him.
RobHawk Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 Great news for Harry and well deserved on the back of last seasons performances. But **** me what a depressing squad - Theres players being called up that should be no way near the England squad! Theres a fair few players in the squad that haven't even played yet this season! Seriously - Is this the best we have?
Guest Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 Great that he got the call up. Won't get on the pitch though. Hopefully he'll have a great season and force Southgate to pick him over "the boys". Vardy must be picked in these two and hopefully will bag 3 or 4 goals.
Stevosevic Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 He won't play unfortunately. Neither game is a friendly and you rarely sub defenders. I'm not sure why he has named 28 players when he'll probably play 16 max and there are no friendlies to dish out caps.

If the rumours are to be believed, Harry Kane is about to be named permanent captain. Pretty much guaranteeing him a start in both games. And England tend to only play 1 up front. So for Vardy its gonna either be left wing, or the last 10 minutes of each game up front

I know it is but when has our management shown any inclination of dropping either of them when they are fit? We're persisting with a half fit Wes Morgan instead of getting a new Centre Half which says it all.
Harry96 Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 Thoroughly deserved. Hopefully he gets some minutes albeit unlikely. Should be in the World Cup squad next year at the very least if he keeps performing.

foxinsocks Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 I am not interested in southgate or his team. This is just an injury risk for us..... phone in sick haaaaari
NeilLCFC Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 Completely deserved. but probably means Drinkwater is off. There is no way Leicester could have three England internationals!
Ric Flair Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 Quite incredible that due to dog shit transfers last season and injuries from this seasons sinings we could still have the same team as from 2 years ago bar Ndidi. Iborra, Iheanacho and now Maguire potentially injured. So frustrating.

LCCFox96 Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 Deserves his chance. Hope he gets given the opportunity to take his opportunity.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 August 2017 Posted 24 August 2017 Walker ----- Keane ----- Maguire ----- Rose isn't a half shit back four, we've been well short there for years but it's looking fairly promising now
