If we really wanted a player like this, we'd have got them in by now surely. This is either us panicking or the press making up crap.

He's relatively cheap RB cover, plus they see something in him that suggests he has a high enough ceiling to start after he's in for a couple seasons.

Might not be the first choice, but doesn't necessarily mean panic buy. Could have had him shortlisted as an option all window, that is if it's even true.

Report: West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City to go head-to-head for Solomon Kvirkvelia in January

Tue 19 Dec

Both West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City were linked with the Georgian defender in August.

West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City are again been linked with moves for Solomon Kvirkvelia.

The Sun's Warren Haughton reported in August that the pair and Crystal Palace were in a 'three-way tussle' for Kvirkvelia, who plays as a centre-back for Lokomotiv Moscow.

And according to the same publication and reporter, West Brom and Leicester will now go 'head-to-head' for the Georgian's signature in January.

It is claimed that Kvirkvelia is keen on a move to England, despite only moving to Lokomotiv on a permanent basis earlier this year.

However, the Russian league leaders are said to be holding firm on their £18 million valuation of the six-foot-four star.

Haughton writes that Leicester manager Claude Puel is keen to bolster his defensive options this winter, as he looks to put his own stamp on the squad he recently inherited from Craig Shakespeare.

He adds that Kvirkvelia is also on Alan Pardew's West Brom radar, should the Baggies lose wanted man Jonny Evans.

Usual crap but......... you never know.

work permit will be issue anyway

so its hardly happening

Don’t be ridiculous - if he’s somebody who we can buy but not actually play it sounds like it’s most definitely happening.
