cityfanlee23 Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Which teams do you think have had a great transfer window? For me West Brom have had a cracking window, they are really building.
SpacedX Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Man U - business done early, top of the table. While Chelsea and Arsenal are frantically floundering about - Jose is probably relaxing enjoying a fine cigar and a cappuccino in some elite Cheshire coffee bar following all this chaos on his phone with his feet up. Man City...it just keeps coming. If Arsenal lose Sanchez and fail to sign Lemar the Emirates will probably be pillaged, burnt and razed to the ground. Saying that... http://www.islingtongazette.co.uk/news/crime-court/smash-and-grab-robbers-steal-large-quantity-of-arsenal-merchandise-from-emirates-stadium-club-store-1-5173083
AKCJ Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Nobody on here will admit it but we've had an excellent window. Iborra, Iheanacho and Maguire in and nobody out. We've strengthened massively in 3 key areas and look well set for a top 8 finish.

Daggers Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Arsenal have had another great transfer window. Listening to their supporters melt on Talk Sport kept me happy throughout this afternoon's labours.
Finn Claw II Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Watford have signed a few good players. Everton have signed a lot of quality.
urban.spaceman Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Everton - Walshy basically been given a blank cheque to work his magic. Huddersfield - can definitely see them staying up Arsenal - this could finally put a nail in Wenger's coffin and hopefully leave them in genuine relegation trouble.
Koke Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Manchester United - Business done early. Good squad. Jose is sitting somewhere enjoying a glass of Portuguese wine chuckling at the frantic behaviour of Chelsea and Arsenal. West Brom - very underrated window. Some good signings. Leicester City - despite the panic behaviour by some of our fans if we keep Mahrez and sign Adrrien we've had a great window.
Strokes Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 West Brom have made some good signings, much as it pains me to say it. I really hate Pulis.
desertfox2 Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Renato Sanchez to Swansea was a good deal and Tammy Abraham. They were always going to lose siggy but got top $. If we get Silva and dragovic with our other signings and only lose DD (for good money) It will have been a very good window for us. West brom have done well too.
weller54 Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 It's unfair that Spain (Barcelona) have an additional 24hrs to Tapas up for Riyad!?
fazzyfox Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Agree about West Brom, in an interview last season Pulis mentioned the long term policy to bring in a bit more quality each year and keep improving (and with the money available to clubs you have to) and was mainly talking about the signing of Chadli following on from Matty Phillips, they've done a little bit more than that this time and have some options now and a bit more quality to go with the work ethic. Everton have been busy and time will tell if they're all good signings but a good young keeper and an experienced Shrek impersonator up front seem good fits right away. Watford, I'm still getting used to all last summers new faces and it's all change again but they seem sensible, appropriatejust the question mark over how quickly it can gel for them. At this moment (8:40 pm) we're above average, good bordering on very good.
yorkie1999 Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Deadline day is boring now since sky got the bouncers in and stopped the fans. Much preferred watching the dildos being shoved in the presenters ear

Sunbury Fox Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Never mind underrated, Everton have had the most overrated transfer window in my view. They've signed a few good players but they've lost a 25 goal striker and failed completely to get in a replacement.

Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Chelsea. Oxlade Chamberlain got a tube to Stamford Bridge (before heading north); Barkley had his cough and bollock test before saying no. Top window.
katieakita Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 We have had a great window and when the dust settles DD will probably be one of the first times we can say we had a star player leave on our terms. We stuck to our guns and have improved the squad
