So if all these restrictions were put in place, Mayor Khan has promised the public will live an extra 13 minutes.
The income could be £400m in the first year, but it’s certain to rise.

Not certain to rise at all. As time goes on there will be fewer and fewer older polluting cars left surely? Especially as they can claim scrappage.

ULEZ expansion map shows the Hertfordshire areas a whisker away from new border - HertsLive

Lets face it, any number of areas along the southern boundary are leafy, as well as some in the North.

Really? Thanks for that.

Coming from London myself, I was more interested in where he lived. He was kind enough to send a PM.

I triggered all the chat on here about this with a post where I expressed the opinion that there's a lot of noise around this issue but it's very difficult to get a sense of who this actually affects and to what extent. We've gained no clarity on that but we've had a lot more noise, haven't we?

Anyone with an XL Bully, Rottweiler, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Staffy or the like should be banned from owning dogs for life.

To a person, every single one I've ever listened, justifying why they should be allowed a dog that will murder them in their sleep, has barely been able to string two words together.

The same kinda thing also goes for anyone who owns a cat - they should be placed in secure facilities for life.

What if all the non compliant cars are driven in these areas?

Nine out of ten people I asked said they do.

I may or may not have included myself nine times in the survey sample.

It's like an episode of Lassie, except instead of the dog desperately trying to alert the park ranger to the fact that the kids have got trapped in a ravine through a series of whimpers and clumsy canine gestures, it's you, trying to communicate a point known only to yourself by asking a question that you already know the answer to.

We need to work on this if anyone's going to watch it

Was that meant to be funny?
If so it made me laugh 😂

Can you expand on "or the like". I've got a Springer Spaniel and, now I don't know if it's safe to go to sleep tonight 😳

I also have a Springer and can categorically state the answer is 'no'

It's strange and slightly obsessive. And even embarrassing now we're in a division below.
