Maddison going there and doing well have softened the edge for me.   I do think players deserve lot of slate for their piss poor performances last season but Maddison were one of the better ones.   Stay Together comment was fricking weird mind.

Probably Man United too

Wouldn't it be better to see them struggle in the lower leagues for years than see them not exist?

This one will be controversial I think, however I think we have too many Professional teams in the English football pyramid.

Simply because the way football is evolving, 92 clubs is too many to keep afloat, chasing the dream of top tier football / premier league. 
 

You’ve only got to look at how many are on the breadline to see the model isn’t sustainable. 
 

We are quite a small island really and when you take take a snapshot of areas, I don’t see how some clubs survive without having owners pump money in. A rule which is basically being stopped by the stupid FFP regulations. 
 

If you look at London alone, we have Arsenal, Tottenham, Brentford, Fulham, West Ham, Chelsea and Palace in the Premier League, then Watford, Millwall and QPR in the Championship.
